Hello!
I am in the in the anime club, and I was wondering if any of you wanted to do a cosplay meeting [OR meetup!] Because the anime club said that I need to find fellow cosplayers, and I KNOW there has to be some. I have faith!

Anyone interested?

i finaly found the anime clubs booth as party in the park last week, they werent very prepared

I wouldn't mind that, though I'm just a member. I can hand them out to people on the streets, tee-hee. Kumoricon is a lovely thing

If the club is like it was when I was going to PSU (we're talking 3 years ago now), then it's just a group of people in a room watching anime, so there's no real need to actually attend PSU to enjoy watching stuff (though the club is probably just supposed to be for students).

I goto PSU and would coplay with you guys but I work both thursday and friday night all night so there really is no way I'd be down town from 3 to 6 on fridays.

However if there are any other events planned I'd love to hear about them.

I got to PSU and have been to the Anime club several times. It's pretty cool. Basically you can bring an anime you want to watch and more than likely we'll watch it or whatever the majority want to watch. Great group of people. :-D

Technically yes. But in practice, anybody can come. So basically its open to the public.

you try doing things at the last minute. Its a miracle we even got a booth. We were supposed to have power so we could show something, but they refused to give it to us.

Great to hear you enjoyed it! We are planning to have events this year or next. Any suggestions are quite welcome. We will be advertising more soon, so hopefully we can get more people to show up.

I just realized that I haven't explained myself. I'm the President of the PSU Anime Club. My name is Logan, and if you'd like to contact me, my email is mister_manji@hotmail.com. I am always open to new events, though you'll have to be patient, because I am quite new to leadership in student groups. Funding is pretty limited, but we can request more, so don't be afraid to make suggestions. We've been looking to expand from just weekly meetings, but weren't really sure about what form that should take. Most of our members come sporadically, and few are really vocal with suggestions. (at least at meetings)

If you can, please come to meetings! We are open to the public

As far as I know, yes. There has yet to be a single other contender for my position, and I'll be looking for a vice-prez, as my current one will be graduating. BTW, you can still attend meetings, even if you aren't students here, so I hope to see you!

Its great to see all of you interested in coming to meetings. I am going to start trying to get a discussion going at the next few meetings as to events people would like to see happen here. In addition, I'll be trying to get some more advertising out.
