I'm definitely going, I'll be in artist alley most of the time, but it's the first con I've ever gone to back in the day, and I try not to miss it each year (even if it seems to be going a little downhill these past few years).

I plan to go to s-con as long as I can get my train ticket and such. (6 hour train ride with tons of COSPLAY STUFF, yaaaay...). It's my first s-con, and I'm excited/nervous. I love conventions but going to one the size of s-con scares me. ^^;; I've attended k-con for the past four years so anything bigger... aaaah, makes me nervous. X_X

I however hope to have an awesome time! ... And cling to my cosplay buddehs for fear of getting lost in the crowds! XD;

Waa, cut my last post. XP Looks like I'm not gonna be able to go to Sakuracon. The friend that I was planning to go with coulden't get tickets, and even though my mum said she could pay for a ticket, I'd still need a friend to go with, and none of my others are going or are able to take me along. ._. Alas, the depressing part about living three to four hours away from where a convention is, -.-

I'm sorry but it's a door thing, which is a pain having to wait in line for your pre-reg badge for up to several hours, or getting up early and getting to the convention early so you won't have to wait in line so long, but than the convention isn't open and nothing to do but to wonder around in downtown Seattle or hang out in the hotel room.

My technique is to not get to the con until around 3pm the first day.

they accept school id's if your in school but you'll still need you parent or guardian if your under 18 (STUPID RULE>

) and if its not your parent thats taking you, the parental permission form :-P

i'll be over 18. i just dont have state i.d. i'll get it all i'll be super prepared well no state i.d.... i'll have my school i.d. and my badge from k-con, to prove i'm sagebell ^_^, i'll have my mom right me a paper saying i'm over 18 or what eve.

i'm hitching a ride up. who wants to hitch me that ride?

I only shared a bed with 3 or 4 of them, and was only [mostly] naked with 8 of them.

last years sakuracon was majestic, my cosplay was..... interesting and didnt get nearly as many pictures taken as i did this years kumoricon... anywho. ya im goin and will prolly be with the local colleges anime club!

I'm still working out my cosplays. If I can drive and get a Vespa (I'll probably wind up getting a green one, but whatever, at least my bass guitar's the right colour) by then, I'm totally doing Canti and finding some other people to do Naota and Haruko.

Having never played DDR, I didn't realize that the dancing characters had names, but then again, the musicians in the Guitar Hero games have names, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Hey everyone, I'm not trying to hijack this thread but I don't want to start a new one.

Any of you willing to help Pocky club make some deliveries at Sak this year? Two of our best delivery personnel, superjaz and Mr_Mustash, will be coordinating Pocky Club activities at Sakuracon 2008. I hope that you will all take some time to get in touch with them and help Pocky Club branch out to other conventions. Even if you just help us with one delivery you'll be doing us a big favor. It won't just be helping Pocky Club, but it will also be helping support Kumoricon.

At the very least, I'd be grateful if you could help make sure that people know that we'll be there and making deliveries. I'm sure there'll be lots of people up there who have never even heard of Pocky Club!

Same here @_@. I could help with a delivery or two, but I have two staff positions and somewhere in there I need to sleep @_@. But if you guys have a booth, I might definately sign up for a Pocky delivery to some deserving people ^_^.
