My kitty, Giro, died tonight ><

He's been really sickly lately, but in that last week it's been a lot worse.

He's been with the family ever since I was 2, so I can't really remember life without him. It's kinda hard to not have him meowing at my door for food anymore... I miss him...

I know I still have two cats that have been with me since I was extremely young, and it's gonna suck when they pass away.
All of our cats have the FTP virus, so at anytime they can get sick, and there's nothing we can do for them, my mother's even in a support group over it.
I try not to get attached to our cats, especially not anymore, it's just easier when they get sick and can't get better.

Aww I am so sorry to hear that   I remember when my childhood cat died...he used to snuggle up to me when I was a baby (according to my mom), I was 13 or 14 when he passed away.  It's really sad, but be thankful for your time with him.  Giro looked like a beautiful kitty.

I was so sad when my rat died. The vet even did CPR on her. x.x;
Your cat feels no more pain, though, and is happy again!

The death of a pet saddens all (well unless the pet was a bastard, but Giro sounds like a good kitty), however in this case the release from pain and sickness makes me feel happier for him.  Now there is either nothing, or something better.

Aww, since you were 2? That cat's lived a pretty long time then. I'm sure he was very happy during that time ~

wow, patrick, that really sucks, I know how you feel though, my childhood cat died when I was 5, and then I lost the other one when I was 8. It sucks, but at least you have all of us to turn too when you are feeling down.
