Bah. If you wanna come to Seattle, then fine. =\ It's fun up here. Gameworks is fun, too...if you want an arcade, that is.

Sweet picture. It's so adorable~ : p

Well I will be willing to drive people, but those people would have to pay for gas. And it's a 4/5 hour drive to there, and back. So that's a lot of gas. : \ because I'll be picking up some people, driving to Seattle, and then driving back to drop people off and then DRIVE back to my house.
And that's a lot of milage.
Which equals a lot of gas money.

Well....I'll google it.

From Estacada to Seattle - 201 mi – about 3 hours 27 mins (not including traffic)
Estacada to Roseburg - 194 mi – about 3 hours 19 mins

ack.
and it takes 40 something dollars to fill up my tank.

Sooo thats my ordeal. XD

Natalie you wouldn't have to come down to pick me up then back. Me, Haruhi, and my sister could probably all ride up together, then we could meet you at your house and head off.

Have you decided on cosplaying as anyone from TMoHS Seraph? : D

Like I said before, you don't have to drive to Seattle if it's too spendy. =| But there are lots of cool places there, including waterfront...just your decision I suppose. =P

It's be easier for me, sure, but I can transport myself somewhere between Portland and Seattle if needed, too. I'm just...not sure what would be a good place to go at that has a lot of photo ops and fun things to do.

Somewhere sounds good Natalie :D I don't care much about it's middle-of-nowhere-ness though, my house is the same way.

And Sk dear I don't think it's too much trouble to go to Seattle at least once. I think it'd be really fun! Maybe we could all go up for Sak-con together, and since it's during spring break we could may stay for a bit longer...? I didn't really want to go to Sakuracon before but I'm tempted lately XD

And Seraph you could be a random bg character!

I could.  or by some miracle of God(okay, not that extreme), I'm able to get the time and funds for one.  Cosplay plate is bit loaded with Persona, Sekirei, Strawberry Panic(presumed), Kaishou wa Maid(presumed), and the chance of bringing my priestess from kumori back.

If we really didn't want to pay for a hotel we could always sleep in a car if it came to it XD

I know Sakuracon is a whopping $40 for pre-reg, but I'm thinking it might not be that bad considering how big it is.

yeah but I don't go to any of the events : \\

So Im tempted just to drive there and walk around in cosplay.

Because I don't go to ANY of the events.
Because I don't really want to pay $40 and not do anything except shop (which is what happened last time)

That's actually pretty tempting Natalie... I'm not interested in Sakuracon for the programming, I want to go because I'd get to hang out with everyone.

I think maybe we should go together my dear and we can float around and have epic cosplay fun. I think Shay would like this too since she was never into Sakuracon, but she does love to hang out xD

I did that before. but the last two times it's been different. I think it's because it's overwhelming at first. Once you do a few times it gets easier to go to events and plan out your days. but I suggest going to the Cosplay event. It's one of my faves, and I always hope that the skits don't suck...>3> Because, frankly, sometimes they do.

This past KCon was my first anime con but I didn't go to the Cosplay event. I think in general I'm more apt to prefer KCon over Sakcon because of the smaller community. Everyone was so nice here! :3

Kori will be doing Haruki (whether she likes it or not!) and I think Natalie (anime_gurl) will be doing Mitsuru kind of. I think she might just want to do normal Mikuru though.

Ah, fun. We just...stood there. Talked every once in a while. Blah. D=

How exciting! I was in the normal reg line on Saturday, and my friends barely made it in to KCon at all. The cut off was about a dozen people behind us, so we were all joking that if we couldn't get into KCon we'd just have a 24 hour sidewalk line party ;D

yeah but I don't go to any of the events : \\

So Im tempted just to drive there and walk around in cosplay.

Because I don't go to ANY of the events.
Because I don't really want to pay $40 and not do anything except shop (which is what happened last time)

I just remember when I went to Sakuracon as a kid, I LOVED IT. And it was so amazing, and fast.

But this last year it wasn't good at all.
The cosplay contest only had a small handful of good events I thought.

The only reason I thought it was good was because of the dealers room and the cosplay (all I did there was shop, I didn't go to ANY events)

I am tempted to go for a day, but not pay the 40 dollars. Because I can walk around fine and not go into any of the events. I'm okay with that perfectly peachy actually.

I would have to be home before 3 if I worked that day, I work weekends : [

BUUUT if I ask for it off :DD then we wouldn't have to worry!
LETS DO IT!

: DDDD

I HAVE FOUR SPOTS IN MY CAR. : OOOOOOOOOOO
<3333333

And I wouldn't be paying to get in mind you all, I would just be walking around :333 and taking photos (Because WHO DOESN'T love doing that!?)
