Because I know I am not the only Trekkish type person here

Spock from the upcoming movie.

I am so afraid of this movie that I may have to wait until it is on DVD to watch it.  I don't think I can face it sober.

But here's a little known fact for y'all....I got my start as a fanfiction beta reader working on a friend's mammoth like 90+ page spock/data slash! during pan far! (spelling?)

Lol- a while ago, I heard that Adrian Brody was selected to play Spock. That would have been interesting. But Sylar as Spock?... I'm really curious about that.

Yeesh.... I'm going to have to see him play something other than Sylar before I can accept him as Spock.

Visually, I'd have no problems with him playing the character.  It's the voice that might throw me.  Hopefully, when he is Sylar that is a slightly affected voice and he will sound differently as 'young Spock'.

I dunno, I saw an Earthday commercial with him and he sounded like a weeny so it's totally an affected voice. I'm sure he can act like Spock but I am still nervous.

This "Zach Quinto" looks more like Spock's father, Sarek, than Spock.  Who is Zach Quinto, or Sylar?

Zach Quinto plays Sylar on Heroes.  Sylar is a serial killer and is very creepy at times.

And Heroes is totally awsomeand I love that show! But yeah- it's going to be really hard of me to think of Zachary Quinto any other way than as Syalr. I'm probably still going to go to the movie to satisfy my growing curiosity.
