Today has been the best pre-birthday celebration ever..... my best friend drove all the way from Corvallis and brought along my other buddy from Portland as a surprise. Then they blindfolded me and took me to Petsmart to buy a beta fish, and after that took me to her grandparents to eat some homemade Korean bbq. I'm so happy right now, tonight we're having a sleepover too! I love my friends....... =]

I have a very good memory at times, but it's selective.

For instance, the other day I saw this kid I had seen at school a few times before. I actually met him in the math lab at school. He kept calling me "Calc 4 guy" because, well, I was in Calc 4 at the time. He had asked me for help with a problem. I recall the exact problem (2^x - 2^x * x^2 = 0) and the answer I gave him (x = -1 or +1) . . but for the life of me, I could not remember his name.

Somehow, I can remember the name of the cute blonde girl that was sitting next to me that day though. Weiiiiird.

So when Ted gets off of work today I finally get to go to Urgent Care...
I havent gone yet cause of money but I talked to my mom and she said she will pay the bill.
For about a week now I havent been able to lay down or sit normally. I have to worm around to find a position that doesnt hurt and I cant breath or laugh without pain. I cant cough or sneeze period because the pain gets too intense and walking in almost conpletely out of the question. I dont know what it is but it is a stabbing pain under my right rib cage and it never goes away.

BUT...I finally get to go get checked out after 5:30 today. I have four and a half hours left and Im trying not to eat or drink just incase. Hunger is trying to win over but I might just drink water if it comes down to it. :/
Heres to praying I dont need surgery.

You know what i don't get? I don't get why the assholes of the internet tell people in fandoms to go kill themselves. I mean seriously, what the Hell? About 80% of people who watch TV, watch movies, play videogames, or are on the internet a lot are a fan of something. Heck, people who don't do any of that are still fans of something, weather it be crafting, fishing, sewing, cars, woodwork, etc.
Just because a fandom may be weird or bizzare to people who arn't in the fandom, doesn't mean that others should be haters about it.
Just because i'm an anime fan doesn't mean i'm Tenticle pr0n loving, Japanese wannabe. Just because i like furries doesn't mean i have some sort of sick fetish for them. Just because i love being the computer/internet doesn't mean i'm a fat, lazy, friendless loser.
Like and let like. People are people, and just because a lot of people are weird, that doesn't give anyone the right to complain. Heck, considering how today's society is now days, being "normal" could be considered more weird than "weird" people.

I'm on the up end of a cooling off period. My bank decided that they're going to start charging me $20.00 a month to use my checking account! I'm going to use family friendly language here, but that in my opinion is highway robbery! They CLAIM anyway that the days of Free Checking are over and they''re doing this in response to the Government and changes in the banking industry. You know what i say...RUBBISH!!!! this is just another attempt by the banking industry to gouge their customers, in own personal opinion at least. That's why I'm seriously considering switching to a credit union account. Banks are for themselves, credit unions are for the people.

Pfft so much for transparency in the banking industry. Looks to me more that the banking industry has just gotten greedier.

This of course is just my opinion.

Today was a pretty lucky day, which is nice since it started off so terrible. XD

-Go to print off all my hw at the school computer lab, all the computers are crashing and the printers are offline, making me 20 minutes late to class. (Ready for today to SUCK)

-Term paper for my Asian Studies class is extended a day, meaning I can do some touch ups on it.

-Teacher and I share a bag of 'sour patch kids' as we finish 'The Last Emperor.'

-Get an 'A' in my seminar I led for my Womens History Class

-During break get a phone call from the college I want to transfer to, it's the head of admissions asking if I had finished my application yet, tell them I'm waiting to put some money in my account to pay for the application fee. She tells me that she's going to waive the fee for me, and to just send my application when I get home and e-mail my essay response to her tomorrow. HECK YES JUST SAVED $40!!!!

-Assignment for my Earth science class gets moved to Thursday, we just watch movies, AND get out 30 minutes early.

-Find out Donald Glover tickets are only $16 and go on sale Friday.

Oh man..... today was a day of lucky breaks for me. =]

Well folks now I'm in for it. This Thursday is a BIG day for me. I'm taking the second test I need to complete for my second degree Black Belt in Taekwondo. I will admit I'm nervous about the test and I don't want to suck at it so much that I have to go back to square one. that would be the ultimate in epic fail.

So, the next Kumoricon meeting is going to be at the University of Oregon. I'm not planning on going, because it's down in Eugene and I have to be somewhere that day.

However, If I could make, I would go out and buy a #5 Michael Dyer jersey (the running back from the Auburn Tigers).

Wash: Well right now SakuraCon is putting us on money watch so we can go... I have been having medical issues (as in the doctors can't find out what the hell is wrong with me...) and can't get a job to help out Griff with anything.
We just got a roommate to help with bills but he doesn't have a job yet. Right now he's out trying to find work...
Our lease is only until July and we don't know where we will be after that...
So right now it's up in the air.

Gamestorm is next on my list of cons.

Sakuracon I could scrape around for entry fee, a ride and a room to share, and maybe have some left to hit the dealer's hall...other than that it's just a farther, more inflated (and therefore epic) version of K-con.

And of course K-con is on my list. My GF already said she wants to be Sailor Jupiter this year. My own cosplays, other than my faithful Amtgard characters, the mighty Mario, and one wig short of a complete Goku, remain to be chosen. Then again I promised myself I'd limit to one cosplay per day, and to spread my schedule out to a breathable level.

My observation is simply 4 days of games of all shapes and sizes.
Board games
Miniatures games
Trading card games
Roleplaying games
Live-Action Roleplaying games
...and everything in between.

I at least plan on going on the 26th, where two of my own clubs are representing the games they play (Amtgard, and PDX Yar), followed by a cosplay contest, so I'll be a pirate all day!

Today I saw the end of Amtgard for OBB...on Wednesdays. It felt cold, wet, and empty. I only found out that Wednesdays were dropped after I got back home from today.

I guess this leaves room to apply for work across the week.
