This may just be my age talking but I hated my parents too durring High School. They are conservative and very closed minded and can be a bit racist. I couldnt stand it. And they didnt want to understand me. After I moved out I began to realize that they were just different people than myself who think different things. I love them for loving me but I cant stand half the things they think or say. I have to bite my tounge around them all the time.

It is kinda stinky when you have no choice but to obey them though. Just remember YOU need to define yourself, even if you cant do it fully untill you move or are kicked out. Your parents love you they are just different.
