haha... my mom was seriously cracking me up.

Mom: "Is this that notebook show?"
Me: "......yup."

(my mom proceeds to stand in the doorway and watch Light's craziness and cackling)

Mom: "He's lost it hasn't he...."
Me: "Yes mom.... yes he has...."

hahahaha.... she was just so serious about the whole thing and had had this really disappointed look on her face. XD

I finally talked to a friend that I haven't heard from in a while. It's weird but... sometimes when you are disconnected from someone for such a long time you feel as if you have nothing in common with them anymore. It makes me really sad that I had to actually think of things to talk about rather than just gabbing about w/e like we normally did V___V
How unfortunate.

I know! My old best friend and I haven't talked in forever, and then when I finally called her, all she wanted to talk about was short-shorts and guys. She used to want to talk about life, Death the kid, Lord of the Rings, and just spaz about. I miss my best friend. She got eaten by the flow.

My parents are finally at the point where they just go along with whatever I do. My mom would watch Death Note and probably analyze the crap outta it. She's been reading true crime since she was 16 years old, way before CSI and anything forensic. She was cool before it was popular, and my mom's pretty damn cool ;)

I hate when that happens.... I know it's natural for people to grow apart sometimes but it just sucks when you finally do meet back up with someone after a long time and you have absolutely nothing to talk about, that or you're both talking but you're on like two totally different levels =[

On the flipside it's amazing when you run into someone out of the blue and it's like you haven't spent any time apart at all =]

It's not that uncommon. One of my closest friends, Liz, has basically become a different person. Strange how fast people can change...

That's happened to me a lot actually, except I feel like I'm on the other side.  People meet me and see a completely different person than I really am.  I guess it's because I spent all of middle school and high school learning how to make good first impressions, but didn't actually improve myself as a person at all.

Also, I finally got around to making some of my own motivational posters!  Here some of them!

I just took part in possibly the best misunderstand EVER....
(note when reading this convo that my mom doesn't play video games AT ALL!)

My mom: "....I'm really disappointed in Final Fantasy."
Me: "uhhh.... what?"
My mom: "I mean the first two that came out were really innovative in my opinion, but now idk..."
Me: "Okay.... ??? Well what makes you say that?"
My mom: "Well it just seems like all they care about now is the effects and overloading it with as many death scenes as possible."
Me: "Wow.... I didn't know you even knew anything about Final Fantasy."
My mom: "Yeah, I mean horror movies aren't really my thing but I saw the first two, the fact that the new one is in 3D though just goes to show that the movies are sucking."

It was at this point that I realized we hadn't been talking about Final Fantasy at all, but "Final Destination". lmao. And for a second I though tthat my mom actually hads been listening to me all those times I ranted about my games. I mom seriously is amazing XD

The fact that this is entirely true is what makes it so ridiculously amazing.  Final Fantasy I and II were groundbreaking.  Now, it's just corporate real-estate, being milked for everything it's worth. :/
