Some people show up a day early on Friday (aka DAY 0) for pre-registration....

It's nice for people who live near the con because they can get their passes without worrying about the line interrupting opening ceremonies or anything like that and allows for more awesome time with other cosplayers and fans! (and honestly who doesn't want that!)

Also some people just like getting into their rooms a day early so that they can be properly situated and rested for opening day activities =]

Beings I live over 2 hours away though, Day 0 just isn't in the cards for me XD

it's like, 30 minutes on the bus for me. but since i am going to be in north portland the night before, it will be a 15 minute ride from my dad. HOORAY FO TOASTERS!! (he has a honda element which we call a toaster. cause it looks like a black toaster with crumb doors on the sides, and a honda label on the front.

I find one of the advantages of going VIP is not worrying about lines, and getting a front row seat for opening ceremoonies. Besides which being legally blind I have no choice but to sit up front. You know I just thought of something KGW studio on the square is going to have an encounter with us sooner or later. Can you say SURPRISE!!!
