I just put in a bookshelf I've had since June. I feel accomplished and like a slacker.

Now I've just gotta clean up the next batch of stuff to take down to the garage.

Ughh.....4 hours of sleep is not enough to deal with this job. Good thing the office is slow enough that I can get half my shift off this morning.

I'm better now. They let me go home for awhile and nap.

I dunno why but I have a hard time remembering not to drink caffeine when I get home. It effects me exactly like it is supposed to so I don't notice it's keeping me up. I'll get the hang of this shift eventually. Right now I only end up getting enough sleep half the time.

Okay question folks? My martial arts instructor and I have been talking about what we'd like to do for a demonstration at Kumoricon next year. We came up with the idea of perhaps having a little audience participation by teaching you some white belt level Hapkido or self defense techniques. I'm asking because I've heard through the Kumoricon grape vine that some people were kind of bored at last year's demonstration. So tell me folks if we had people sign some waivers what do you think peeps want to learn some self-defense techniques?

This would need to be run by our board (and our insurance) first.  You might want to come to the November general meeting (which has not yet been scheduled) to discuss the notion with the 2010 board.  Or you can send a PM to the Secretary once the board is fully formed. (this should be within 2 weeks of the October 25th Membership Meeting)

*sings*
So if you care to find me
Look to the western sky!
As someone told me lately:
"Ev'ryone deserves the chance to fly!"
And if I'm flying solo
At least I'm flying free
To those who'd ground me
Take a message back from me
Tell them how I am
Defying gravity
I'm flying high
Defying gravity
And soon I'll match them in renown
And nobody in all of Oz
No Wizard that there is or was
Is ever gonna bring me down!
bring me down!
ahhhh!

Morning everyone  ;D. CloudStrife32 thanks for the information I appreciate it. Roddy Maniac, not too shabby, now try this:

"O, for a muse of fire, that would ascend
The Brightest heaven of invention.
A kingdom for a stage, princes to act
and monarchs to behold the swelling scene!

Think when we talk of horses, that you see them
Printing their proud hoofs, i'th'recieving earth.
For tis your thoughts that now must deck our kings.
Carry them here to there, jumping o'er times.
Turning th'accomplishments of many years
Into an hourglass; for the which supply,
Admit me chorus to history;
Who prologue-like your humble patience pray.
Gently to hear, kindly to judge, our play.
Henry the Fifth.
