Man, I'm finally just now getting to the point where I'm 90-95% health-wise after my bout with that cold going on. It's been ~2 weeks. ;<

We keep a bunch of goats around the house as the 'Lawn & Brush Control Dept.'

Well there was this one fellow who was 'free to a good home' but as his horns grew in he became quite the obnoxious, aggessive twit. Result -> cut & wrapped. Included about 20 sticks of summer sausage.

Right now he's doing pretty well as part of a delicous goulash with red onion, squash, scallion, sauteed mushrooms in tomato paste, hungarian paprika (hot,) white pepper, bay leaf, mace, and crushed clove.
Simmering is with cheap-o red (Bay Bridge, $2.99) and some gin in place of juniper berries.

He's about ready now and we will pair it with a 2002 Lalande de Pomerol, which is a weird year but might work out OK for GOAT.

^ Don't worry. I can solidly assure you that "Brownie" (the goat) thoroughly deserved his fate.
He butted my wife during feeding time, and when one of our older goats was having trouble moving around (14yrs, CAE caprine arthritis) he kept knocking the old guy down just for amusement.
He broke down one of the stall doors ( = handyman fix-it chore weekend for me, instead of making AMVs ) and he tried to poke/butt/gore my wife while she would try to get our senior citizen back on his feet. My wife says that had she been packing one of the .40cals she would have capped him in the head right then and there. But then I'd have to dig a 5' deep hole (more physical work for me, instead of PS3 gaming, which would suck.)
We separated all the other goats from him and twit-boy started smashing a tree and/or eating the paint off the barn.

He was a total psycho, but good eating. (We had an abbatoir service come over. Even they said he was ornery to the last.)
Hey, it's 'organic'** - no chemicals in his feed and no preservatives. We fed him on sweet corn for a week.

** actually, to organic chemists, 'organic' only means 'plays with carbon on the periodic table.' As opposed it 'inorganic.'

DEAR GOD! TODAY WAS THE WORST DAY TO EVER BE A SCRIPT WRITER ON A BIG PROJECT EVER!!!

For those of you who don't know, I'm in media broadcasting, and I am the HEAD script writer for our live election night, which will be on November 2nd. Now I had no idea what to do at first, and was seriously not given any examples, no serious criteria but I did my best with what I had.

So, Being I want to still actually PERTICIPATE on my SENIOR project, I go and I mesh the two scripts together, and add in some things she forgot.
I turn that in, think it's awesome.
8D We run through it the first time and I think it's doing okay, I even stay after school to make the Technical directors job easier.
I come into class thinking it's going to be awesome, we're going to use my script, and all will be well, NO! SHE RE-WRITES IT AGAIN AND DOESN'T GIVE A FLYING **** ABOUT HOW I WORKED MY ASS OFF!
-.- Just saying, I cried, cursed and broke a tape case.
I even skipped my Spanish class to stay after and PERSONALLY OREGANIZE 10, 10 paged scripts.
JUST SAYING! FML!

So the other day, my 6-year-old niece shows me a manga she picked up from the school library. I think it was called Kanon. Anyways, I pointed out to her how she'll have to read it from right-to-left instead of left-to-right. I told her that's how they read it in Japan. She just looked at me for a second then said, "I read it like a normal person."

Moments later, she says how she can "read like a homo." I asked her what that meant. According to her, that means she "only looks at the pictures."

Then she was following me around as I ate an apple. Apparently, according to her, it "wasn't an apple," but rather some "puke that turned into an apple." Boy, did I feel stupid or what! :\
