The other day I was talking to this girl that works in another department.  I'm pretty sure she likes me, so I was just chatting with her and introducing myself.  Then I realized I had been talking to her for a few minutes and had better continue on with my job.  I said something completely innocent in the context of my job, but as I was walking away I realized, given the whole flirty/introduction conversation.. That is so stupid... Someone who posts a lot turning into a troll or bitching some people out doesn't lead to any reason as to why someone should abandon con.
People who say that obviously don't really care about the con itself and are looking for something to complain about in order to make a scene.
Maybe they should grow up and realize the internet isn't to be taken seriously.

Plus...the forums do not reflect the con itself. A LOT of attendees of the con aren't even part of the forums! Anyone who went to the Forum Meet Up Panel can easily see that we are only a small portion of the overall numbers. And yeah, not every who is on the forums who was at con were there but still...I doubt we make up the majority.

So if people want to leave con cause of the "serious business of the internet"...then they have issues.
