The hour-plus downtime tonight got on my nerves too. $:-\$ But fortunately, this time it was probably our host's scheduled maintenance rather than the weird recurring issues the server was having for a while. Those seem (knock on wood) to have been fixed.

He's good. ^^ He is getting older. and taller. >< He is at my neck. I give him 2, 3 years max and he will be taller then me. I am 5"4, that isn't that short. He is just a tall 9 year old. He is so cool though. He is all into manga and anime and games and just is awesome. He watches Naruto, but likes the manga better. ^^ He also has been watching Child's Toy and Slayers with me. ^^ He also love Fluxx, Zombie Fluxx, and Dominion. He has not played munchkin, but I bet he'd love that one too. He played his first D&D mini game thing wen, he was a Dwarf and did a hell lot better then my Elven thief did. He is my best friend. But always so busy. Cubscouts, Chess, Choir, Martial Arts, (baseball now too, but Chess and Choir are over for the year.) He might be coming to Kumoricon, It depends on if I can afford to take him to NDK in CO or not this year. He still wants to cosplay ValGaav and/or Naruto. But if he does cosplay Naruto I am "not allowed" to cosplay Sakura or Hinata. ^^; (still don't care for Naruto much, but he loves it so I am starting to like it some.) He is like a mini me, but a boy, and more mature, and less mood swingy and smarter and cuter and more awesome. ^^;;

Nee... Sorry. But ... anyways. Yeppy, people remembered me! ^^ Oh, and going to go see Sucker Punch this wen. At Century 16 Cedar Hills Crossing at 11 (well, 11 ish, movie is at 11:40) so for anyone not in school or work I would love friends to join. my facebook has a rsvp event thing for it. ^^ I am able to pay up to 4 people, 5 if you count me.

If my son cosplays Zed I will cosplay Jane Maxwell or Beatrice

ValGaav (If he does, I will cosplay Filia (if I can get someone to do Xellos) Or Lina or Sylphiel (if I can get a boyfriend to do Gourry Gabriev. Sylphiel would be more fun, but only because I am on a HUGE Sylphiel and Gourry fix right now.) Or Luna for the fun of it.

I vote for cosplaying Kushina, and not telling him who it is until he gets to that point in the anime...

And I love the fact he's watching Child's Toy with you - I've never understood why that one didn't catch on like wildfire here, other than possibly issues with the dub.

I LOVE watching it with him. It's my current guilty pleasure. He is at the end of Season One. So tonight we watch the first one of season two. And, it might not have caught on here since the anime ends at season 2 here. Or the issues in it are too "grown up" so most US parents all freak out. I myself find the show a good way to be able to talk to him about some of the issues in it. Or the american songs are a bit annoying sometimes, so that could be way it has not got a big fan base. ^^; But yes, it's my Guilty Pleasure because my son likes Sana, so he blushes sometimes when watching it and I tease him about him liking her sometimes. (I tease him about his iCarly crush too, and the crush he has on 2 of the girls in his school. ><; ) And it is so fun watching him react to the show, Get all nervous when they are nervous, laugh, just be all into it, and be all "Just one more mom?? I have to know what happens to Sana/and/or/Akito!" hehe. But... I love seeing him blush, it's the most fun. *is a evil mother. hehe * Like ... When Sana got her leverage over Akito, my son blushed there. Hehe. And the first time Akito does something he shouldn't to Sana, after the spilling of the drink. But the second thing Akito did to Sana my son was really red in the face, I couldn't help but laugh a little. but then I was all like.. "Eeee! Never do that!!!" and he was all still red and was like. "I would never. Akito is stupid sometimes." The differences in the anime and the manga are pretty big though after a point. Need to read the manga from the start, only read a small bit of the 3rd to the last volume that was up. Want to buy it but have no clue where to find it.

Hehe, and when my son first started reading Naruto he blushed when the sexy-no-jutsu showed up. hehe.

Okay I got to get this off my chest.

I think there's a great way for anime to really take it's rightful place in American prime time:

Turn the worls of Anne McCaffrey into anime movies and/or series or evenm mini-series. If any of you have any of her books at home take them of the sehelf and read them. if you don't go to the sci-fi section of any new or used bookstore and buy one. Read either the Colura (Pronounced: Ceh-Lore-uh.)', The Tower and the Hive series (The Rowan, Damia, Damia's Children, Lyon's Pride, The Tower and the Hive.), Any of the Dragonriders of Pern series, or anything else you can think of that she authored. Read it and you'll see how intricately woven and beautiful they are. I believe if combined with anime it would make them even better.

And that's all I have to say on the matter. Feel free to agree or disagree with me.
