(unless it really is a date, in which case flip away)...
I'll have my fingers crossed tight for you guys in getting it straightened out.
Random, Good advice all around in your statement. I think if it is truly a date, then really that's probably the only possibility in which it might be okay to flip out. It could be that she needs to talk to him alone about something very personal, too. Maybe she needs his advice. o.o I think talking to your beau in a calm manner and expressing yourself clearly is the best way to go (you know, like you said you were going to do). Good luck!
I have to say I'm really digging the fact that my brother has been paying for my dinners lately. Today we went with his girlfriend to Red Lobster and had a super delicious mango berry rum daquiri, and a mango pineapple Mai tai...... about to leave so we can hang out for a bit before going to the theater to see Super 8, and X-Men. SO EXCITED.
Brothers are awesome like that sometimes. My bro and I don't have that similar tastes in movies, but we do like beer! My cousin, my brother, and I are trying to get together more often, and it's really awesome to chill over a brew and just talk without worrying about family social expectations. I can swear around them and say inappropriate things. It's so nice.
My brother pestered me incessantly when I was a kid, so having this reliable older brother (who still pesters me with cop maneuvers from time to time) is great

Sibling relationships can be sorely under-rated, I think.
