Team Fortress 2 Cosplay
« on: December 27, 2007, 03:04:42 am »
My friend and I hatched a plan to do a Team Fortress 2 cosplay group, and I was wondering about ideas/possible members/suggestions people might have. He's gonna be an Engineer, while I'm opting to be the scout. Anyway, I was wondering if people might be interested or whatever. It probably won't be perfect, as the TF2 designs are over the top, but I think I'll still have fun with it.

I believe I'm going as a Sniper, prolly Red Sniper.  Might even make a Blue Intel Case, but that depends on how bored I am.  Medic seemed like a fun thing to do, but I don't know.

Awesome, Red Sniper sounds great. My friend and I are opting for red, and we  have a Blue Spy also.

I'm thinking of doing a Red Pyro. I am dreadfully bad at the game, but I love it to death! Though I wouldn't know how to go about making the flamethrower. It would be fun having people figure out what I'm saying.

Eh, it's simplier then it looks, I think.  If you get one of those bug sprayer backpacks, that would make a great base.  Or look on craig'slist for a gas nozzle, would make the ideal handle.  Just a matter of some PVC pipes, and you're good to go.

^ Sweet, I'll keep the bug sprayer and some PVC in mind! Hopefully I can get my dad to help me assemble it.

Any idea of where I can get a gas mask?

Andy and Bax does have gas masks, quite a selection just beyond the counter.

------------Soldier--------------------------------------------------
If you find or are looking for ideas for a soldier, they also sell oversized red helmets perfectly matching that of the soldier and they have the foldible shovels.

-------------DEMO MAN---------------------------------------------
If you are looking for a demo man or gear for him, just get a beany and an eye patch as well as the level 4 SDUs found here.

It has the crotch flap which can be flipped up and/or folded inside the vest, this is off course necessary so you can lift it up to reveal a sticky note with a smiley face. If you wonder what I am talking about try pressing g with the main weapon out while a demoman. Then get a big brow whiskey bottle and a fake mustache and youve got your demoman.
