i think something important that i think no one else has mentioned here, is something about the brush application. Brush application works very well IF you have the right kind of brush! you really need something that ha very soft bristles, the stiffer the brush the more likely you are to get streaks and you really want to avoid that (as well as avoiding going over the paint twice, this can also cause streaking especially if the paint has been allowed to dry a bit).
i've used krylon a few times;
here you can see some slight streaking, darker colors are also more prone to this, also i let my sister put on her own makeup but i think that the white was covering well

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v379/pinkrandomattack/hkoscratch.jpganother thing i think i should mention is that the kryolan stuff does NOT itch the same way you might think of face paints as doing (you know like at the fair when you were 8 and you got that wicked unicorn painted on your cheek? only to scratch the crap out of it within the hour) which is really nice, it kinda actually turns into a powder after it drys on your face.
another thing, everyone should love the varying uses of aqua net hairspray. you CAN use this as a fix on your makeup (keep your eyes closed) and its only about 1-2 bucks a can....spray lightly.
