Would anybody be interested in doing a Legend of Zelda cosplay? Someone said something about it before, and I'd like to do it; maybe not for our first one but eventually. xD

Would there be any way to incorporate dance in what we do? Maybe one of the skits or something could be like a musical or something. xD. I realize dances are boring -- unless you put character into them! :0 Even if you can't dance well, like if you have problems with coordination, you could cosplay as a character with that same problem or a character where very simple moves would be effective enough, and you could be in the dance.

Something else, uh, whatever we are cosplaying, some day I am actually coming as Kyle Brofloski from South Park. I hope that's okay, but if you don't want a Kyle Cosplayer in your group please tell me. However, I also have a Watanuki cosplay outfit from last year. But any other suggestions, I'm sure I'd be able to cosplay as that particular anime character.

...So according to the front page, we have nine members signed up....Eleven if Anime_gurl_123's friends get their account....And we need around 10-15....I don't have any friend who could join...I only have one cosplaying friend, ha ha. And her mom wouldn't let her join.....

I can probably get my boyfriend to join. hes most likely going to kumoricon and i think hed like to be a big part of this ^_^

also, i dont think having a bunch of girls in a cosplay group is necessarily a bad thing. i met a friend of mine online that does AMAZING deidara and sasori cosplay and shes 100% girl. shes been sharing with me her cosplay secrets. -cackles-

i think in a cosplay group its like an unwritten rule that everyone pitches in and helps everyone, so i think that even if someone cant afford something someone else should be able to help buy the materials for/make it.

Chiming in a bit late but LoZ would be really awesome. I'm not sure how strict we'd be on what actual game you'd have to be from, but I have a Pink Link in the works already. Complete with TONS of ideas for little extra props, and an Epona look alike I bought from a thrift store. It's one of those that a kid would wear as a belt, and it makes 2-3 different noises!!

Half my cosplay last year was handsewn. But even beyond that remember the unwritten rule.

The rest of us in the group will be here to help ya out! my mom and my dads GF both have sewing machines plus i bet a bunch of other people do.

Theres tons of options out there!

1.) NAME OF GROUP
Please start thinking of a name so we can do start the fun! :DD Such as for an example, a favorite fruit and food. Mine would be Strawberries and cupcakes, so in Japanese it would be Ichigo Cupcakes (doesn't have to be in Japanese either!). Is your imagination stirring yet? (doesn't have to be food or anything, it's just an example!)

So far people like Cake on a plane/Arashi no Ame (which means cyclone of rain)

2.ASSIGNMENTS
This is what you want to do in the group except cosplay. Such as website design, cosplay assisting, writing skits, etc.etc. So far we have about three people interested in web design, two in cosplay assisting. If you think of anything else, state it here please

3.FIRST COSPLAY
So far the choices of Cardcaptor Sakura, Fruits Basket, Miyazaki films, Inuyasha, and Ouran Host Club have come up in this thread that most of us know. So far Miyazaki is winning, and CCS, Ouran, Fruits Basket are close behind. Please enter your vote on this thread (remember please vote for two.)

eh, well if you live in Tigard its really easy if your near the Washington Square mall, you can just bus it. I think its the 45 that goes from Washington Square up to Portland but its been a while since I've lived down there. Dunno what you mean by being brave, worried about the traffic? or the urban campers asking for cash?

I guess I will not be a hypocrite and say I could do the reverse but it cinda sucks when I have to go into Portland then go back out
