Suggestions for Con Events in 2005
« on: September 08, 2004, 07:59:07 pm »
Intended for: Sean, Peter, Tammy, Josh, et all from the Eugene group.

Hey guys, its Jess, I was wondering who was organizing events for the con next year.  On the drive home I had several ideas for some contests which should be cheap, easy, and interesting for attendees.  Wanted to know when and to who I should voice them.

Btw, it was really great to see all of you guys again.  I need to hit Eugene again soon and say hello.

Hello.  I have a few ideas too.  I don't know if they are really feasible or that interesting to all but they might be worth a try.  Who would I bounce them off?

I have plenty of ideas as well and I am intending to attend the meeting tonight.  If you check the news page there are directions to the Con Chairs apt. in Tigard and the Eugen meeting place too.

Hope to see you all there!

Please come to our next Portland General Meeting.  I'd love to meet you!  Your daughter is welcome as well.  It's a long meeting because elections are taking place, but if you want to get involved, it's a great one to attend.  Since it's at the Portland Central Library, if your daughter gets bored, there are always books to read.  It's October 10th from 1:15-4pm in the US Bank room.  (I'm sure there will be breaks too!).

As I mentioned in my private message to you, I'd love to see you involved in the convention.

Isn't it great that Portland and Eugene are 2 hours away from eachother, rather than four or six?

Ahh, well, you'd only know that if you attend Sakura Con. Or some other anime con before Kumori Con came about.

Anyway, if you can make it, we're always glad to see returning faces. :)
