I probably should have tagged that or something. It's pretty far off. I don't know how far off it is. I just watch the show, and I'm like 2-3months behind since I dont have sound on my computer right now....

I wouldn't try spray paint in the bathtub, BTW: it doesn't really wash out well. Unless you've covered just about every surface in there with something ...

Yay another costume complete~ I haven't gotten to work on Legretta at all and now I have to make some stuff for my boyfriends Issac costume. I think I can do it though.

I've got to go buy material for the vest and his neckerchief. Then make the vest. Then make him spurs if we have the time on Thursday/Friday.

Started building chest piece for my sons Shinji Ikari plug suit, I have the shoulders and the chest done. I still need to build the back and the side straps.

Thanks to AE this past weekend, Ashitaka's wearable. Still have a few things left to do, though, if I want the completed version:
- Make the sword out of wood, paint, and wrap the grip (use the foamboard version as a template)
- Fix the boots
- Make the chaps
- Dye the compression shirt
- Finish the ties for the arm covers
- Make the small dagger
- Re-wrap the grip for the bow
- Get suede for the quiver, make it
- Make a few arrows

But thankfully, all of that's optional, except maybe the sword. I'm doing that today.

Also, for Cardcaptor Sakura:
- Finish the patches
- Make the collars, cuffs, and hats
- Finish the wand
- Style the wig

Yay! I'm at about 95% with my Kaiji outfit, which will be my first non-half-assed cosplay. Just need to go shopping for the appropriate shirts tomorrow, have my emblems re-fastened, and wear the whole outfit around for a bit to get used to the feel. Here's a horrible, self-taken picture of me with the coat and some of the cards:

That's pretty much the plan. The only thing I really have to worry about are the emblems, which seem to be stuck on there pretty nicely. The main thing I need to get used to is...wearing jeans. I've worn sweatpants since I was 3. This cosplay is the first time I've ever worn jeans in my life.

i wore dresses untill i turned ten o.o

and then went to skirts untill 13, and now i only wear jeans xD

So, my wig came today! Finally, one more thing off the list of things to get into my frying-pan hands. Tomorrow I need to get some product and work on styling it. I tried it on and it seems like there is not enough hair on it, as I felt some bald patches on it, but I think if I style it right it could be covered just fine. I dunno, I'm definitely new to the wig world.

I'm also aiming to finish the cape painting tonight, sew the extension on the scarf tomorrow, and attach the barrels to my cannon also. So, yeah, I hope I make progress!

Alright I have a new thing that I need to work on for my costume. ACTING! I need to get Temari's personality and attacks down so i will be doing studying to make sure I make the best Temari. With the Dating game and the chess (which I made, I'm going to be a knight ^_^) it will really challenge my abilities

My sons shinji cosplay is about 75% done, I finished the chest piece of the plug suit but now I have to alter the wetsuit. The hardest stuff is done though.

finished rikku's belt yesterday. i also went to joanne's and got the stuff i needed for the right arm glove. and today i put the last layer of sealance on the shoulder disks for rikku. yesterday i helped my friend start her lucky star skirt...but we forgot to fold the fabric and there wasn't enough for the other half...two blondes doing cosplay together does not work...

today im gonna finish the goggles and hopefuly almost finish rikku's shirt. i'll also paint the disks. dunno if ill finish that cuz i have to paint the back and front, but i will most likely have the shirt finished late tomorrow

Well you should take a picture of it and post it in the critiques and hear what other people have to say. It may be really good, and they could always give you things you need to work on ^_^

It has it's tough accessories, but I think with the right advice, tools, and help, you could do it no problem. Remember, you've got your cosplay crew behind you. ^_^

Okay, so All I have to do for Mana now is make shoes, clay up some fosshape, remake my belt 'cause it's a little too small, and paint.

And put stuff together.

For the prop commission, I just have to clay that up and paint it, too. I shaped the styrofoam yesterday and stuck in the wings and cheek ribbons. I'm going to add the details on the bottom after I finish with the clay on Mana - while It dries I'll work on the props, while the props dry I'll paint the stuff for Mana.

Yaaaay plans.

Also, Misa has officially been dropped for this con. It really doesn't look like she'll be finished.

- Joann's: to buy a glue gun, black binding tape, and a ruler with circles.
- Goodwill: to search for black combat boots.

My gloves are drying now and there is a few patches of lighter color but I don't think it will be seen once the armor is on.
