lol, yeah, this will definitely be a lesson for future reference. Have a job come con time!! I depended too much on the idea that I was going to have a job, and then it didn't happen and thus, no money to buy things in time....poo

But yes, it will get done! If the wig doesn't get here, I'll just sit everything in the corner until next year. (I'm not about to do some h-a Azul without the wig, heh).

Yeah, I would have more time to work on it, but if I get everything here and done, I'm going to wear it this year. I will still work on improving it in the off-season whether I wear it this year or not. I always like to improve. My ultimate goal is to make my cosplays as durable as everyday clothing, so yeah, that's where I hope to go with most of mine eventually.

heh, my cosplays are like my children (except I love them more than I'd ever love my kids, haha). I let people try on my Barret gun, but I'm always like...."eesh...careful, careful" lol

Same with the fan for Temari....I usally don't let people hold it because they always try to open it the wrong way.....but my Albel sword is a different story, its sturdy and wont break.

Cosplays for other people to wear? I dunno... You usually make them to fit your measurements. In the MIRACLE that it fits someone else... oo; Wow.

No I didn't I guess that will be something else I can work on at the workshop.

Alright now for the moment I have been waiting for.....and i thought I would share with everyone. My Temari costume is officially finished. The hair has been dyed and it looks great

I found out that I can go to the car wash for a little bit, to help with set up. I'll be in partial costume then. I'll have a swimsuit and I may even do my hair like hers.....we'll see.

I am done with Temari till after the con...then I might touch up on some things. Albel is going to get touched up on Tuesday and then it will be good and i wont have to work on costumes anymore ^_^

okay, so i finished my Skirt for konata, and i just got fabric to do the collar, but it might not be enough. and thank GOODNESS for early halloween, because i got a wig for shia and a re-do one for konata (the last one is too knotted). so im going to go stlye tohes now, wish me luck =3

im starting to accually think i can do this in time...

I have a gold fabric which I cut and make into a like line but now I don't know how to make it look like a bow..

im about to make rikku's shirt (ffX) and i was wondering what the disks on the back looked like. the ones with the blue ribbon connected to them. i have absolutely no idea wut the design is

Hooray~ My Mum came today to fit my dress (because I am not skilled enough at the moment to make two big costumes at once).
But my Miria dress is almost done

Ignore my swirly bra.

Only decent full view picture of her on my computer at the moment.

But I'm excited! All that's left to do for her is to actually sew on and attach the black lining on the top along with the sleeves and actually attach the ruffles (they were pinned on just to see how they looked). Oh and make the middle ruffle more...ruffly. So my Miria costume is at about 80% now.

Now just to finish Legretta...

I'm more or less done with dark link cosplay, don't need a shield but pondering finding one and painting it black just so people don't think I'm dread pirate roberts without a mask by chance.

I'm not going to wear cosplay. I'll have my swimsuit and the headband on but that is about it. Not even going to bring the fan.....maybe.....i don't want it to get wet. But I will have my camera.

Yeah, that makes sense. I'd only be wearing my costume if I could use someone else's sign to flag down cars. I wouldn't be washing cars in the costume. So, I guess wherever I'll be needed.

And to keep the thread going, I plan to work on my belt/codpiece for Azul today. So, hopefully that can get accomplished. I don't want to leave anything out on the deck drying if it will get really hot and bright again.

so today im going to get anothger styrofoam wig head at value village, becasue my shia wig started tangling the secong i put it down... oh well, its punishment ofr not getting a good wig. my mom wnats me to clean up all the blue and black hair thats scattered all over our backyard, so i'm going to do that soon ^^' but im also going to hem the manami skirt today, and get the cuffs on shia. when i attatched the tail, it bunched up a bit in the back, when i find my camera, ill submit a picture, becase i dont know idf i should leave it or try again. then ill try my best to get started on the pajama pants underneath.

WOOO!!!! Im like 95% done with spanner

I just have to add the blue cuffs, thigh pockets, redo the arm pockets (or take them off?) and I NEED TO CLIP THOSE FREAKING STRINGS. Ugggh.

Anyway, excuse my cray hair/face XD Here is the jumpsuit base. You can see all the detailing (UGH WHY THIS SIMPLE GARMENT TOOK SO FREAKING LONG) and its fully functional zipper and snaps

This thing could withstand an atomic bomb XD

Here is me with the wig (the curl makes me so happy xD), the goggles, the wrench, the boots, and the lollipop!

Look on the bright side, pencil, you won't need to carry a bag at the convention. You can just stuff everything into the pockets
