It's about that time of year again, folks...
start _{(or continue)} working on your cosplay!

Feel free to post progress notes, pictures, etc.

I took advantage of that President's Day sale and bought a pattern, fabric, fake jewels and thread.

And I finally replaced the broken needle on my sewing machine.

I'm working on the very last bits of my SnJ Gaara cosplay,
AND my friends SnJ Sasuke cosplay.D;

Its really damned hard since me and everyone else i know sucks at sewing.
THANK YOU older sister for having a adoptive mom who is a godly sewing machine.=w=

But for my friends cosplay,We have to finish the shirt and legwarmers.=/
And i'm worried about the shirt.
The "sleeves" concern me.>.>

I have almost all of the fabric and makeup for my Zim cosplays, but none of it's put together yet. Still need to order wigs. >>
I have all of my Hayner cosplay (unless I make a new vest) but I still need to restyle the wig and fix up my new struggle bat. And maybe get a skateboard/roller blades. X3
I technically have all of my Duo cosplay, but I wanna get a different shirt, add wings to the hat, and fix up the scythe. I also want to make new pants, but I don't know if I can find the pattern. >.<
I have most of Gaz except the wig and necklace, but I may get a different shirt. (so many maybes ftw XD )

Percentages: Zim = 15%. EmoZim = 20%. Hayner = 80%. Duo = 15-90% (depending on how much I remake). Gaz = 75%.

And as of today, I have exactly... $0.90! EPIC FAIL FTW. XD;;

Well I just added abunch of cosplays to my list XP
but..I have all the fabric for my Dancer Nobody, just need boots, and I just ordered one of the wigs I need, Oh, and I have all the fabric for my Tak cosplay..
its mostly fabric that I have, and yet I still mostly fabric that I need...

namine is done bu since i cut my hair i think ill need to get a wig.

My temari is so far from being done its not even funny. im looking around and keeping an eye out though

I've got the hat, the gloves, the sewing machine, fabrics, and books but no skills. XD I've never actually made something by myself, so I'd thought I'd begin really early so that'll be perfect!

I've got a lot to do. I haven't gathered any materials or anything yet. Basically, at this point, I am just working on trying to get into shape for my character.

I have been working like a crazy lady. My Roxas jacket is done, and it is my pride and joy. I had to make 4 versions of it (basically) before I was happy with it D: Roxas under-shirt is done except the little ninja-star-esque thing on his zipper, which I am contemplating making or buying. The pants are technically done but I may be re-doing them because of their crappiness. Shoes I haven't even started on D: His wristband/rings are done. Contemplating keyblades. Going to commission wig now that I have monies!

Kairi is done, may re-make her tanktop though. Shoes could use some touching up.

Haven't started on Hikaru Hitachiin yet XD

Helping my friend with Sora, and the jacket is like, 50% complete.. Yeah. I have lots to do D:

i am in a similar boat as EveofAbyss i have no material yet but mine that i am thinking of doing should be simple anough to do. the other one is one from last year, so i just need to do some touch up/fixing of some miner things

Luna and Heero are done, only because they're from previous events.

Princess Kakyuu are going to give me the biggest headache. *die* Jin's simple, so he should be done no problem.

Err... lack of job = no fabrics, wigs, supplies. Well. Sakura-Con is coming up, so I'm more worried about that.

I'm jealous of all the KH cosplayers...seriously, wish I could slide in but body size forbids it.

I'm still trying to choose between two costumes, one of which I have to choose before I can work on a skit, and the other is just me being highly random. *grins*

Luckily they're easy costumes so once I decide and stop constantly changing my mind, It'll go easy.

Saguru Hakuba (Detective Conan): Missing: Jacket, hat, suit, contacts, have bleach for hair though!

Gluttony: Missing Shirt, bald cap wrist braces, need to replace make-up kid (horribly abused it at halloween), have pants and shoes, still need a way to tattoo tongue without...tatooing my tongue (or using something that washes off with saliva).

I got my fabric for my costume finally. Thanks to a 50% off sale at Joann's I got it for $9. I almost soiled myself when I found that out.

Decided to cave and go as an Orgy XIII member from Kingdom Hearts...and found ALL the pieces I need at a seamstress shop. And the talent to put it together just right!

Now I just need the monies...hmm, maybe I should get a temp job...

Kabuto is currently being worked on as I was working on it for Sakuracon (but going to that is now out of the question). Tonight's agenda is to finish the overshirt and the waist-wrap. This weekend, when not swamped with homework, I'll tackle the gloves and figure out what I want to do about the pants...whether I want to make them or try to find a pair that match.

Also on the agenda tonight is cutting the fabric for Takuya's undershirt and getting more references pics for Koji. Yay Digimon!

Ravenclaw student is done...has been for about a year. LOL. I don't have the sweater, but seeing as how Kumoricon is in the summer....yeah....

Pirate wench is mostly done. I do want to make a new vest and head band though...as well as finding a decent sword replica.

I cut out my tissue patterns...soon to cut out the actual fabric. Wondering if I should go out and buy proper amount of interfacing.

So, I HAD money to buy all three of my wigs with... but then I decided to buy Cirque du Soleil tickets. So I'm broke again. XD Oh well.

OH! I did clean all the gunk out of my Hayner wig to restyle it. Me thinks I'll have my Roxas and Seifer help me make it this time. Cuz they're the one's who have to look at it. XD;;

And I accidentally broke Seifer's new struggle bat. Sooo... me needs to help with fixing that. Cuz I feel really bad about it. >>;; We'll have to reinforce both of them so it doesn't happen again at or before Kcon. XD;;

Kcon 08 mascot (25%done) I need to buy yellow fabric, create the tail/fur cuffs/ears (no biggie) and get the white fabric for the clouds then attatch it all (thank goodness i had a nearly perfect dress for it already.

Hahaha yeah, pm me if you need any help! I'm mostly just doing touch ups on Bridget and such since I made it the last sakuracon. And agreed with Bridget being way to feminine. I know no one that though he was a boy when they first saw him which is why he is the best trap in the history of traps.

Hmmm...Considering I am re-using the Jiraiya costume I used last year, I have no problem taking it out and putting it on again for this year.

I've recently got some spare cash, so I'm going to be searching for a basic gown pattern and some good white and gold fabric and beads for my Charlotte Elbourne costume. ^^ It's going to take a long time, but I will make it work!
