i think i've looked at that store before. i'm thinking about buying a wig from there but im gonna look at a few wig stores first just to make sure. i dont mush like buying hings online cuz i dont want my stuff lost in the mail...

im working on it as i speak...type...my work space is right next to the comp

Thats good to hear. I want to add a slit in the skirt I have but I am afraid x.x

As for the store I ordered my wig from there and a friend from there and we had no problems. I like them so much because of how cheap they are but still look amazing. I am planing on going to Sakuracon as Hikaru Hitachiin from Ouran and there is a wig there that is perfect for them and it is only $3! I love it ^_^

I don't know if I'll get wigs from anywhere but there.....unless they don't have what I am looking for. I think the wig for Albel was about $27 total including shipping, and I got it within a week.

That's just awesome. Up until now I was hearing some bad things about orderign wigs in general (I was hearing that they take a long time to ship, no matter where you buy them from), so it is great to hear that place has a quick shipping time in addition to all the other awesome stuff.

Why can't they be shipped before Thursday so I can have my pink wig?!
I saw a good one at party city...but I dun wanna buy since i already have one coming. The one I saw was to short anyway..

Oh yeah, Simca cosplay complete. I finished it yesterday at work.
I got the boot covers done and this one was made entirely from scratch so I couldn't half ass it....
It looks much better then when you saw it last Nikki...

My lil update

Yuna : Done! I could attempt to fix up the hems of the shirt x_x But I'm not really sure how to without the use of evil bias tape... Lil demon strings everywhere and its too much to use glue.

Diva : T-T Dress'll be here tomorrow hopefully~ I gotta wear my sandal shoes for it, since I couldn't get her boots x_x They'd've killed me. But I've already got her leggings ~

Roxas School Version : I'm tempted to come with my red tie and red plaid pants, not the blue miniskirt and blue tie.... It would save me from fighting with the knee socks x_x

So I got my wig ordered today, finally! One more thing down. I had to end up getting it from Cosworx (as opposed to Amphigory), because it seemed like ordering it from Amphigory would not have it here in time (a 15 day shipping time as opposed to a 5 day shipping time from Cosworx.....much better, right?). So yeah, wig is ordered and when it gets here I have to learn how to style it, but shouldn't be too much work. (And thanks for your help, Nikkiolie, but I ended up going with a different wig, because I needed one that was straight.)

So yes, wig: check!
I also have the rest of my supplies for the cannon, so I will be constructing parts this week and getting wood cut for the box this weekend. Hopefully, by this time next week, I will have this massive goliath finished! ^_^

15 day shipping time? WTF? oO I just ordered mine yesterday and it got shipped today. (woop!) It should be here by the 11th. That's weird..

I have that same problem. For my cosplay I didn't want to sacrifice quality (the last wig I bought from Cosworx was not so good ><) so I requested the earliest date possible. So for now I play the waiting game...

Really? I figured Cosworx would be really good because they are talked about on Cosplay.com and seems lots of people go through them. Hmm, hope the wig turns out good quality. The wig I ordered was the same wig I would have bought from Amphigory, so hopefully it is all good.

Well, my main problem is that my head is sorta large, and the wig that I bought was way small so it didn't fit over my head.

Plus it had no bangs so you could totally see my hairline (I attempted to do a Eureka from Eureka Seven, but that failed miserably). I'm hoping this time if I pack my hair as flat as I can into the wig cap this wig will fit.

That's what I thought was my problem, and I'm just hoping I measured wrong or the wig will fit at least. I have a lot of hair but it will be cornrowed so it should fit under a wig cap with no problem, hopefully. And I hope your wig works out for you. *crossed fingers*

Get a light blue Wisp for Eureka. That's what I wore for Aqua from KH2 - it's too bright but it sorta works. *shrug*

Cosworx has pretty good quality wigs, but you have to take into mind about the straps in them and make sure they aren't tightened so it doesn't fit.

and the wig need a bow.. all "hard stuff"
sexy no jutsu:
sew hem then sew shut (woo. easy!!!)

friend's mist cosplay:
figure otu how to add trim to the arm holes
and fix collar
and make gloves

other friend's marcia cosplay:
started pinning then sewing then finishing. so everything but cutting the first peice of fabric.

yay! i finnished the second wing!now all i have to do for misha is sew on the tail(i finished that yesterday) and wings, buy shoes and a wig, and make the pj pants(im gonna start those when my mom gets home, the instructions were confusing)

after i do the wings and tail i'm gonna attempt to make rikku's shoes. i have all the supplies so i think i'll be fine, but i might need to ask questions. ill keep updates on my progress here

to joann's!!!!!!!! out of the 100 spools of thread between me and my mom, we dont have light yellow. but thats just my luck so i have to walk to joanns now just to get one spool of thread. there goes an hour+ of time today.

thank goodness my friend already had pants that matched Olette's perfectly cause i didn't want to have to deal with that ahah & that we finally found an orange tank with white trim to wear on top of the black tank .

Well, I just bought a white belt for my Hiei cosplay and I don't think I can find three others since they're not so popular in stores. T^T I also need to find a longer black coat which I'm having bad luck on as well, along with finding a longer sword. The wig I have was originally a DBZ one but I'll find a way to make it look more Hiei-ish... eventually. =.=;

And I'm pretty much done with Inui. All that's left is the... JUICE. >D
