Making wig dye is so weird. oO I hope it turns out good. It looks super dark in the bottle, but that could be deceiving. *crosses fingers*

So you're making wig dye out of sharpies? That's a clever method. Hope it works out!

I got my plastic but I have a question. How do I get it to bend the way I want it too. Right now I am just bending it till it naturally goes into the shape I want it but I was wondering if there was another way....

Some advice for thicker plastics is to heat it then try bending it to the shape you need. Then hold it until it cools and it should (with thick plastics) hold it's shape or curve. The thing I did when I needed to make my gauntlet was put straps on the underside that were tight, so the straps would actually hold the plastic curved from beneath.

So you have a couple options, but the main piece of advice most people would give when dealing with thick plastics is to heat it with hot water or a heat gun, or even in the microwave (though that last one has the tendency to go bad, I've heard). Then (wearing gloves or mitts), hold the plastic in the shape you want until it cools. I've not tried that myself but I have read that it works well with the thicker stuff.

I got my Sanji wig today and I just styled it a bit : D
I may make give it more of a razored look and put some spikey bits on it so that it looks more like Sanji's current hair.

Its not really on the wrong side too, Photobooth just flips images :/
Yay!! Costumes are finally getting done-ish : D

^ That charm looks amazing! What'd you make that out of? And I'd say hot glue could work well if you're careful and don't get any "overflow" with it.

The shoes and the charm look fantastic!!!
I'd say super or hot glue would work :D but hot glue might run the risk of being too bulky.

thank you n__n !

x; i made the charm outta clay in ceramics class that was fired, glazed, then fired again .
then i just used acrylics to paint it then glossed it .

- - ahh i forgot to say i once tried hot glue & it was a mess in the end xD; .
so hopefully super glue does the trick ;9 !

Ouch, yeah, when I come over tomorrow we can work another way out. I'm sorry that got all messed up though. We can try the strap idea tomorrow, that way doesn't involve any heat or risk.

Try to keep that hand iced.

Nice, yeah, I like fire too, but water....it's a crazy substance.

As far as progress goes, I did a looooot of painting today. I got everything but two pieces of the cannon painted. The barrels are left, as well as 8 little pieces of plastic sheeting, and I will do those things tomorrow morning so I can be ready for the Workshop.

use warm water. lol just throwin it out there dunno if its really related to anything

And thanks for the advice....I know nothing about First Aide, lol.
