I feel much better this morning. Yesterday was just a bad day for me. I was very stressed and I got hurt a few times during my soccer games, nothing too serious but it was really getting on my nerves. I was being ganged up on >_<

Yup yup yup. I got most of the parts I need traced out and ready to be cut. The ones that are traced don't have to be shaped either so that makes me happy. The hardest thing is going to be the finger ring thingies. I am so not looking forward to those.

Well, it may be weird if there are two different thicknesses of plastic on your gloves, but I can bring some of my leftover plastic sheeting which is just .020" if you want to try using that for the rings. It would probably bend and roll easier.

The sad news is that it look like I have to go get more glove to dye because the glue isn't coming off. That will be something I do tomorrow.

it took me all night but all the sewing in my costumes is complete! xD i now just have to buy a few things. me ish happy specialy since im leaving in an hour or so for my aunts where i wont be able to work on my costumes >:3 and thankfuly cause i got no sleep 3 hours in the car should help me catch up....

I made a prototype of the front of the suspenders. Hurrah! Now to figure out the back.

I'm a bit concerned about cutting on the holes. Maybe I'll hand sew around those just in case.

To do:
- Make pattern for back of suspenders.
- Complete suspenders prototype.
- Make actual ones with the pleather. (note: research pleather)
- Buy a ruler with circles?
- Sharpie black lines onto pants.
- Find proper black combat boots.

Wigs should arrive tomorrow...!!! Ahhh

I need more twill tape to finish Miyuki.
The skirt i shortened and added the first ribbon.
The shirt is almost finished. I need to add interfacing to the collar, add the lines on the sleeves and close it up.

Bathing suit hunny:
Skin colored shirt
Pink innertube
swimming trunks

I'm pretty sure i can get all these finished but I think I wanna make Hunny a pink Kimono o-o
Think i can do that and add the patch on the uniform in a meer 15 days?!

Alright alright. So today I got a lot accomplished. I completely remade Albel's claw and it looks so much better. I will mark him as being 100% complete. As for Temari I scheduled my last hair appointment for this Saturday so my hair will be the right color and I would put that costume at 99% complete. ^_^

I am ready for the con.

My Azul Cannon is...hmmm....I'd say about 80% finished, and the cannon is probably about half of my costume, so my total costume is....hmm...I'm not good at math, lol. I'll just say my costume is a good 60% done, heh.

Tsukasa: wig arrival, shirt, finish skirt (i need the zipper. i lost the other one), buy socks, buy shoes

other: PANIC!!!!!!!!!!! IM GOING OUT OF TOWN FOR A WEEK!!!!!!!!

They do. I was just there a couple days ago and saw they had quite a few kimono patterns in different books and companies and what-not.

Yeah, it depends on the company some times. You could get lucky and find a pattern for $3 or have to shell out more and buy one for $15.

Eesh, yeah I don't think I'd spend that much on a pattern. Mainly because I don't know how to use them and don't sew.....so it really is not something I could see myself even needing, lol. Once I start sewing though, I'm sure I would start needing them.

You can look up instructions online! Are you making a Kimono or Yukata? Kimono are more tricky (because of linings and what not, as far as I understand), but Yukata are easy-peasy!! Its basically just a whole bunch of rectanges!

No wig still. The guy at the post office to check for it on Tuesday ><;

In the meantime.... I got a picture of Aqua's non armor costume, so I'm making that. The shirt won't be perfect cause it's haard x_x Well it should be fine really. Either way -I'll show up hahaha!

Yuna costume's all done, so's Diva. I just have to figure out what shoes to wear for Diva's. Then the rest is just waiting for the convention it self~

I made no progress as far as costumes go so far today, I just tried on my wigs and "ooohed" and "aaahed." I LIKE THEM. XD
