ruffles...i hate em >< they're so annoying i keep forgetting to do them lol... so my ryuichi outfit is still 75% from being done, i kinda wanna do a 2nd one was thinking shou hamura from angel feather...something a lil more simple lol

Look on the bright side, pencil, you won't need to carry a bag at the convention. You can just stuff everything into the pockets 

oh god I miss pockets. Neither one of my costumes have pockets so I am going to have to have someone else carry my stuff and stay with them the whole time....I really don't want to have to carry a bag around with me x.x

Well, it may not be needed, but at least on Sunday I know we'll be at quite a few shoots together so I wouldn't mind carrying your stuff. If you need me to, I've got lots of pockets, heh.

I am thinking about putting really necessary stuff in the lanyard......and I have no idea what I am going to do with the phone and camera. I'll give the car keys to someone in the group ^_^

My costumes don't have pockets either. I keep choosing ones that don't for some reason ><; My mom has a decent sized black Japanese handbag I'm gonna try to take with me though. Fat wallet, camera, car keys and whatever else I can stuff into it, I'll take it. It's the kind of bag that wouldn't kill your costume if you're caught holding it.

Well if I am ever wearing the cloak for Albel then I can put a bag on underneath it (the bag I am talking about is the little drawstring backpacks), and no one could tell XD. Other then that any bag would interfere with my costumes.

You could possibly sew a little pocket into the inside of Albel's "Skirt", but I guess it could drag if too much is in the pocket.

Also keep in mind of how I would get to the pocket in public. I thought about that too....I just think people may see more than they want to.

I likely won't have any pockets either which will be troublesome.  presuming I even finish my cosplay that is.  one is just needs light sewing and the proper make up, but the other one I still need to put together.

So after today, I am one step away from finishing the belt/codpiece for Azul. I just need to spray one more layer of silver, spray it all in sealant, and assemble. Then that part will actually be finished! Shocking, lol.

Went on crazy cosplay-supply-gathering with friends yesterday, they are getting started on their costumes (haha, slackers!  (although they're mostly only doing one costume each.)
I managed to gather pretty much everything else I needed for my cosplay.  
I decided to re-do Kyoko's apron, because I went at it carelessly late one night/morning and it's not exactly up to the quality I'd like it to be.  I now have all the necessary supplies for re-doing it, plus a killer plan for how to make it perfect this time.  
Yesterday I painted my fake gun for Takano, and it looks pretty rad.
Found perfect pants for my Tohma costume yesterday, and found the hat today.
Attached the feathery trim to the bottom of the coat.  It now needs just a bit of trimming and it'll be done!
I also went about the dubious chest-binding today, and I think I did pretty well for a first-timer, but I need more bandaging.  I found gloves to match the outfit on e-bay and they should arrive tomorrow or very soon.
All Tohma needs now is shoes.  I push him up to 95% done!  So excited.
All I did for Takano since last time was buy more nylons, since I don't want to get stuck with one pair and no back-up if they run!  (bring clear nail polish just in case!!)
Bought more hair pieces to add to my Kyoko wig to fluff out the ponytail.

Also tried on my black wig and pushed all of the hair in front of my face, snapped a sinister picture and messaged it to my friend who is scared of Japanese horror movies with spooky black-haired girls.

Yeah, no kidding, lol. I am already planning ways I can make it better for next year. Number one thing, I'm gonna have to keep working out until I can actually get sculpted, but I am also going to try to find a cheap leather armor/breastplate to wear under a tight leather shirt to get the look of Azul's top. This is all stuff I am hopefully going to get done for next year because it is too late for this year. But yeah, number one is for me to get sculpted, haha.

Last year a bag didn't ruin my outfits, they were schoolgirls & could be carrying bags.

This year, I dunno.  I have ways to stash necessary stuff like cash, ID, & bankcard.  But I will not be caught at the con without my camera!!  There is simply way too much to be photographed.

I should've done a photographer character.  I'd actually like to do a Speed Grapher group someday... ^^;

I remember you saying something about not knowing how to do the bow (sorry if I am mistaken >___<) but school uniforms, the bow underneath the sailor collar is actally a giant triangle that goes around the neck and then you tie the two ends in the front (I dont know how to explain it that well D:) here is a pic that might help?

The orange suspenders are a prototype - I made them out of a cotton, but the real one is going to be pleather. I accidentally made it way too big, you can't see all the pins in the back! Hahaha. But holy crap, I don't know if it's just me, but the suspenders are a pain to figure out. Frustrating!! _Ahhhh~
Besides those, I need to draw (?) on the lines on the gold pants.
I also need black boots...I'm wearing black socks in this picture lol.

Yeah that's what I thought of doing also, a chibi tamaki! ^_^ I don't feel like styling the wig too.

Yeah, Totemo, that looks amazing. I'm a huge Fifth Element nerd, so I'm excited to see the finished product. I'm curious, are you going to dread the wig at all? Since Leeloo's hair is somewhat dreaded.

Wooo! I added a zipper and front flap to Tsuna jumpsuit along it tailoring it a bit. Somehow one end of the collar came out like 2 inches higher than the other side so today I will rip the zipper out and rip the crotch seam and move it down o___0
Also started patterning out Leona!! So that is at least started (although I don't know if  I can finish it XD)

@ totemo- Looking awesome! Just a suggestion though, instead of drawing the lines on why not hot glue thin strips of bias tape or fabric instead? I would just be worried about getting the lines straight and stuff XD Oh it's just an idea though~
