Tomorrow I'll fix Esther maybe at the hotel or maybe before we load up the car. Eh, what the heck. I'll do it when we get there. We leave at noon, we get there long before pre-reg opens up. I have time!

If you want to know, I'll be walking through the lobby dressed as Konan with my Demyx sitar. That'll be a crossover for the ages.

I love most pairings of FFVII world XD Some I just don't get - like ZackxSephiroth. Hellooooo in all reality, Sephy would massacre him. Ahh the stretches of the story >>; So weird.

Wasn't there a rant someone did on youtube or something of a guy saying "I never got to revive Aerith with a Pheonix Down!!!" lol I loved that. I cracked up laughing going "Yeah!! Why don't the just use a Pheonix Down on her?!"

Oh, btw, pinions are no different. All they are different in FFIX is they are both a useable item and an add-on that you use to learn the summon Phoenix for Eiko and like... one other ability.

I just finished the sewing on my Leona top..... ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ITS TERRIBLE. The lining didnt match up with the rest, but I dont have enough time to fix it, and the collar is SUPAR funky since I patterned it myself, and for some reason I can't pattern collars to save my life. I think all the mistakes are really only noticeable to me, but still, I'm a perfectionist XDD

I just gotta fix up Neuro's head for the cosplay chess. I can finish everything else up at the hotel...

I can't wait to see you alll at the con!

I'VE MADE A NEW HARUHI SKIRT!
IT'S AWESOME TOO!!!
I've also remade my Haruhi shirt and changed the collar that I had on [/the ribbon was red] to white and i made the sailor collar a bit longer and undetachable!
I also shortened my skirt, added on my ouran patch and I'm READY TO GO!

Davy Jones:
-Barnacle Jacket
-Add buttons to vest
-Barnacle vest
-Add marine adornments to jacket
-Paint barnacles

Tali from Mass Effect:
-Add visor to mask
-Add tubes to mask and arm armor.
-Finish sewing and add zipper to collar
- Sew arm strips

Tali I can finish tonight with exception to the visor. I need to tape it to the right shape. super glue keeps on getting on the front of the visor and ruining it.

I've got tonight and tomorrow to do it all! I can make it! I swear!

Woot! Pouch is done, quiver is done, sheath is done. Everything (for Ashitaka) that absolutely had to be done before I left home is finished! Anything else can be done in the car on the ride down or at the hotel.

I'm kind of amazed. I don't think I've ever been this complete on a new costume two days before I'm due to wear it. I should do cons two weekends in a row more often. ^^

Will take some more pictures tomorrow, when the lighting's better.

And I believe I'll be taking certain parts of the outfit to the fabric store tomorrow, because I just got a call regarding an application of mine, and she wants to see examples of my work. That and/or Juliet. Which reminds me I still have to make Juliet's hat for the ball. Oh well, I'll probably cut it out tomorrow.

I just took my laundry out of the dryer and my kurenai dress shrunk in length. Now it is too short!
I guess tomorrow I will be buying a different fabric(this one gave me a headache working with!) and starting from scratch when I get to the hotel. Good thing I'll be there all day.

I feel you. The varnish didn't dry on my belt. It got sticky. Really, really sticky. I need to redo it. Luckily the design is simple. BUT my barnacles are now falling off. I guess the spray can sent too much dust down so a lot of "shells" are falling off of my pants.

Best of luck to you. Can you not just add another layer of those bandages things?

So after running home over lunch break yesterday to lay a first coat of spray varnish down on my belt fittings, and staying up until two AM to finish up sewing, I have one thing left to make before I leave the house, and that's just a question of taking the bottom of my existing obi up about three inches. 'Course, I still have to pack too, but that shouldn't go too badly. And maybe dye my hair to cover up the grey for Miranda, though it's okay if that doesn't happen -- it's a lot less evident when I pull my hair into a bun, after all.

I've got three hours until I need to head out the door, pretty much. Hurrah.

Ouch, that happened to me once too. Thats why my number one rule now is to prewash my fabrics!!!

It's not that dress. Its her outfit while pregnant. I'm going to print out the page from chapter 342 so that I can show people. I mean it's a simple black dress it was just the fabric.

alright i finished Mel in the wee hours of the mourning while a good chunk of you were asleep (3am ish)

the ruffles are hand sewn and attached (rather crapply but hey at least their done) and all the white lining you see? did that by hand last night as well -o- but in conclsion

Finished my Wufei cosplay! No pictures, because the camera is a holy object in our family and it isn't worth it to try to touch it.
Will be sitting down to do final painting on the Lexicon. New pages are at this point optional and only kind of likely.

Today I finished my "Emma" (from "victorian Romance Emma" which will be premiering at Kumoricon). I also finished up the two Pumpkin Scissors costumes - "Alice" for me, and "Olend" for our Con Chair. W00t!!!

Now I have to fix the reports in the cosplay database so it'll be easier to print data.

Spray-in dye+plastic wig hairs=STICKY TANGLES ARGH
In other news, lice/nit combs work wicked well for taking out aforementioned sticky tangles. There is a use for those demon creatures after all.

Styling Garnet's wig *which arrived finally w00t* done! Painted and attached her golden hair thingy and cut out and painted Pikachu's Thunderbolt. Finished all the items - I think - too! I'm going to double check, though, just in case. ^^

I wasn't able to make the thunderbolt for my friend as big as she was, which is saddening. T.T
But it is 3.5 feet long ^^ The little one is about 3.5 inches too.
It's gonna be a killer bringing everything to the con tomorrow. My stuff is fine, but I'm also carting around her thunderbolt and Pikachu cosplay until I FIND HER to give them to.XD
