I am reading JapanAmerica by Roland Kelts. I love it! It's all about things like cosplay, and anime, and how they've ended up in America. It's awesome!

A Deepness in the Sky, Vernor Vinge. I liked A Fire Upon the Deep quite a bit, hopefully this will live up to my expectations.

some book on Samurai. Can't quite name the author or title. It's non fiction, and it's on the history of Samurai.

I went to Barnes and Noble the other day to get the eighth chobits volume, but they didn't have it, so I bought this adorable manga called Kasumi instead.
That's what I'm reading. C:

If you like Chobits you should also check out Kobato.  You will see some old friends.   ;D

The anime of Kobato has just started airing, it is following the manga rather loosely so far.  At least it isn't totally different.  Hard to say with only one episode out so far.

It has moments that make me lol pretty hard. I think a lot of people who haven't read any of the prior books in the series, will not understand or like this book.

I think next will be Twelve Kingdoms book II.

Also have started reading, sort of, Build your own computer for dummies.

I'm reading "The Subtle Knife", by Philip Pullman. I'm surprised at how enjoyable it is to read. I do wonder about his take on religion. I doubt that religious fundamentalists would allow their children to read his works. But... I have only seen the first movie, and only started reading the second book, so I cannot claim to know what he is all about. The anti-C.S. Lewis???

S.M. Stirling The Sword of the Lady. Just finished a couple by Lois McMaster Bujold, about Miles Vorkosigan. And before that a whole series of Jack Campbell novels. And the new one by Travis S. Taylor, and also Larry Niven's latest. I gave the Niven to my dad for Christmas.
