It's the Guess the Character! game

So, rules are pretty simple. One person posts a description of a character from an anime or manga and the next person names the previously described character, and then posts a description of their own for a new character. The descriptions can be as brief or long as you think is needed to give somebody a guessing chance without giving it away. Sound fun! Shimashyou!

This child prodigy must daily put up with the antics of her less-than-genius classmates, which include daydreaming and making bad puns.

Heres an easy one.
This international man of mystery in an expert in getting what he wants though he never seams to get the busty brunette he chases. He and his gang are constantly being hounded by an inspector he calls "Pops"

(Yeah, I would never have guessed Suzuko.  I tried searching for "girl, feudal Japan, anime" and kept getting Inuyasha or Tenjou (something))

Ok heres one a bit harder than the last one I gave.
This member of an after school club enjoys goofing off and scaring away other potential members to maintain his spot on the team. He is often seen as the counter part of one of the main characters. He fashions himself a boxer but is better at playing the part of the coach or arguing with his counter part over which broom is better.

D'oh, pi strikes out!  Ok, here's another one to ponder while everybody's puzzling over Negima's character:

This young girl is the last human on earth after a nuclear war.  she was awakened from cold sleep and lives with a family of robots, including one named Angela, who looks sort of like Motoko Kusanagi.  This show aired in 1998. The story was written by Hideo Kato and Hosei Takuma. The series was directed by Kenji Kikuchi. It's pretty obscure and has never aired on US television.

Alright since no one got it, it was izawa hiromi or "Cappucino" depending on whether you watched it subed or dubed from the Ping Pong Club

In an effort to make this easier for you all heres something more mainstream

That's a little too easy!  Tsukino Usagi, and her pal Luna. 

So how 'bout the Yakult question?  I'll give you another hint, her sister enjoys "Unyu"
Also, the Yakult connection is really a product of her fandom and has relatively little to do with the actual show.

*nobody guessed mine correctly. It was a very minor character. Leader of the Ape Tribe in Princess Mononoke. I love people who throw rocks, Killer Croc, Fezzik, Rock-Throwing-Guy from the pilot episode of Stargate SG-1...*

Daxe, I was thinking Ping Pong Club but I've purposely avoided that show after seeing footage in AMVs.  :o
Glad to see I wasn't too far off. Hmmm.... time to google Yakult....

He's 15 and engaged to get marry his cousin, who's also a boy, because he slapped him after dropping his fork. OK, the last part i may have gotten the silverware wrong. What else is new?

New question: This girl was turned into a cow, and surprisingly, didn't seem to mind that much.  She turned back into a human later.  She is the youngest member of her academy's student council.

@ EveofAbyss: That sounds more like Abel Nightroad from Trinity Blood than Alucard Hellsing. After all, Hellsing is protestant, but it's not a religious organization. Whereas the AX division of the Vatican most certainly is!
