I love Ed 0.0 I want to see Ed. I have see Ed cosplay before but it always missing something.....I wonder if the hotel will allow dogs.....

Speaking about dogs one of my dogs looks like Appa from Avatar all she needs is a arrow on her head and horns. I want to go as someone from Avatar just to dress her up like that.

AW! That is so unexpressably adorable! I can see you as a good Mai, from your pics :) Mai could be experiencing dog-napping-mania!

Btw... since the fangirl is getting the best of me right now, how totally amazing would it be if we played yuri/yaoi Avatar shipping games?! I think I would explode from awesome  :D Then again, there may be just a scant few Avatar fans so... whatever works  8)

Chat has been moved to this topic in the spam forum: http://www.kumoricon.org/forums/index.php?topic=7147.0

This thread is for planning your event (which is on the schedule).  I love your enthusiasm, but the planning of the event is getting lost in all the chatter.  You can continue your conversations in the other thread, but this one needs to stay on topic.

My internet was tweaking out all week, I kinda stayed away from the actual internet for a couple days but I'm back now! Basically, we have duck duck goose now and truth or dare, kagome kagome, when I looked through what I did look through I saw a few ideas rise and fall so now it's just a party to remind everyone. If you have Pajamas you can bring em if you want but it's not themed anymore. Ummm, as a reminder for Kagome kagome the lyrics are;
Kagome kagome kago no naka no tori wa
itsu itsu deyaru? Yoake no banni
Tsuru to kame ga subetta
Ushiro no shoumen daare?
So if you want to play Kagome Kagome start memorizing them. I might have some sheets to pass out with the lyrics on them. Other games suggested were the have you ever ______ game, where you say you have done something and everyone who has gets up and switches chairs, and then the 10 fingers game which is the same thing only you have ten lives and you don't use chairs! Another game suggested was Otokoyo, a.k.a. tag. We'll see how big our room is before we do that. In snacks, someone was interested in getting pizza delivered and some people volunteered to bring food. I wanna start that over. If you wanna take food tell me or message me saying what it is. I might need a room to store it in, but I have a friend who lives around there that could store it if he really needed to. We can get pizza delivered but I'm gonna want help to pay for it if we do. ^_^; I'm thinking if it's two hours long we'll have a photo shoot for a little bit to begin with, have a free-time play games thing, then play hide and seek or something. XP I wanna play hide and seek there really bad if we can. The glomp cirlce will either need to have people taking turns or just more than one smaller circles. Oh yeah! Dating game too. That sounds fun. :] What do you guys think? XD

I have some Papa Murphy's coupons if there's one near there. XD And I think if we did do tag, it'd have to be outside, or it would have to be slow-motion mixed with freeze tag.  ;)

Haha, I can imagine that. XD We could have tag be at the very very end then go outside. Depending on what time the party ends, if it ends before curfew we can play tag until curfew or something like that.

I think the slow motion mix freeze tag would be a delight to watch. I can just see it now.
-reaches out hand very slowly to tag but misses and falls- XD
That would be a fun game. Snacks I have no idea XD

The only problem I foresee is the food. I'm pretty sure we aren't allowed to provide our own food. Like, unless we cater from the actual hotel, they don't want us having food for the event. >> However, if you just happen to have some snacks on you that you'd be willing to share... XD

So they don't want us ordering pizza either? Hmm... I guess we might just have to have a party without food... or... 'Oh my... I bought this large bag of chips and 12 cans of soda but my little tummy can't take the snackage.... please, somebody... help!' The food isn't majorly important... but it helps the mood. :]

I think we can bring our own food but I don't think that the hotel wants us to ask someone else to cater for us (like a pizza place) I'm not too sure though. Maybe it is only snacks. I can't imagine they are going to stop you if you have a cake.....There will be so many people you can just run and hide. They'll never be able to fine you XD

Yeah, I think it's basically that they don't want you officially providing food for the event. But like I said, if you just happen to have a lot of food and want to share... ^^ As long as you're not setting out tables with piles of food that's obviously for the event, they can't really stop you. So bring a cake! Just don't bring five. >>

You will be fine to order your own food at the Doubletree, as far as I understand there is no rule preventing this.  Especially if this is a party you're doing on your own rather than an official event sanctioned by the con.  I will remind you all of one thing though, if you want people to go to the yaoi/yuri party, don't put up any paper advertisements or anything like that at the hotel, as we will have to request you take it down due to rules against acknowledging room parties (it could be construed as such).

Talk to programming about that, since this is an official event you should also talk to them about the food issues.
