Yeah, it'll be like...Aslan, the sacrificed, skinned version, and half-arsed at that....Aslan if he wore human clothes and was a guy, lol. OR maybe I will just be eve cosplaying as Aslan cosplaying REALLY REALLY well as eve, lol. Yeah, let's go with that.

Oh, fine then, don't cosplay as the prophet of the antichrist, lol. No, I really don't remember anything except a creature wearing a lion skin and saying he is Aslan and fooling everyone, and then possibly a floor collapsing into hell, lol.

So, yeah, I guess go with Lucy then.

the whole skining stuff makes me think of an eisode of my childhood i think i was 9 i was still pretty little, it helps to know that my mom's side of the family is native american and me and my fam are all mebers in a tribe (no foolin even tho i white as snow)

i was at a native american supply store with my grandma and mom and they were getting leather twine for dream catchers, the older guy who ran the store noticed me
"hey girl first time in the store?"
me"yeah.."
guy:"then you get a free rabbit! come up here and pick one out
mom :isnt that nice go get one"
me...with thoughts of cute little hoppy bunnys dancin in my head "okay"
guy pulling out a box of rabbit skins "go ahead and pick one out you like"
me taking first one off the top  .  .  ."okay...........t..thank you?"

then my mom starts sneazin a storm and my grandma got rid of it

the end
 :'(
superjaz, that is jaz with one z count'um ONE z!

So I got off of my lazy butt, rode my bike to the nearest theater and watched the movie. I have to admit I wasn't too excited about the movie, but I actually enjoyed it. Don't know about you guys, but I thought it was better than The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe. Eh, personally I am hoping they make it all the way to the Magicians Nephew (that one was my fave as a kid).

The Final Battle was Lewis's last book chronoligically, I think. Wasn't the Magician's Nephew a prequel to the whole series?
They also skipped A Boy and His Horse. >.o

yay i'm glad you liked it!

as far as my set of books go, they're going in order. i think they're going in order of when he wrote the books, so i'm guessing the films will go in this order:

the lion the witch and the wardrobe
prince caspian
the voyage of the dawn treader
the silver chair
the horse and his boy
the magician's nephew
the last battle

i heard they're planning on doing them all. if they don't, they'll have a ton of disappointed fans *like me... lol* i'm super excited for dawn treader though... oh the sea of lillies... *dreams* yay!!

i think eve-boyfriend and i want to plan our wedding in a narnia theme... omg it'd be amazing ^.^

Yeah, they are making the movies accordign to that book order, although it is an odd order to go in for movies. I guess they figured George Lucas did it, so they could too, lol. The set I have goes in the chronological order, so Magician's Nephew first and so on. When aaall the movies are out on dvd, that is how I plan to organize them on my shelf, lol.

i'm thinking maybe the movie-makers thought it would draw more people in to do it in that order? maybe they weren't sure about making magician's nephew first or if it would bring in enough revenue to merit making the rest of the series... it's a mystery!

the order makes sense to me, well, because that's the order my set is in and how i read them, lol

Yeah, that is a good point. Magician's Nephew, while awesome, is a pretty overlooked piece of the Chronicles. The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is the best-known, I think, and probably was the best bet for the first film.

for one of the movies at some point... i wanna make one of the white witch's dresses... becaue they are awesome ^.^ *is in love with all things narnian*

Yeah, that is a good point. Magician's Nephew, while awesome, is a pretty overlooked piece of the Chronicles. The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is the best-known, I think, and probably was the best bet for the first film.

not to discredit it at all... i'm so super excited for when they do end up making it ^.^ oh the awesomeness of the creation of narnia <3

i made a narnia cake in school once... i'll have to post a pic up here when i get a chance

Narnia cake.......ah! I remember now! That was brilliant! We need that for our wedding cake, lol

ah i was thinking the same thing ^.^ narnia cake full of awesome! and our cake would have many layers with different scenes and characters and the like... *wants to make that cake now*

And it can be super tall and huge, because you know what? You won't have to worry about moving it from the kitchen counter to a display table for judges!!

i'm thinking maybe the movie-makers thought it would draw more people in to do it in that order? maybe they weren't sure about making magician's nephew first or if it would bring in enough revenue to merit making the rest of the series... it's a mystery!

the order makes sense to me, well, because that's the order my set is in and how i read them, lol
