They're a huge store. They can afford more taiyaki irons (or whatever you call the presses). They'd get their money back in no time.

My friend wanted to try the taiyaki, but after waiting in line for 12 minutes we just said screw it. I felt bad because she really wanted one. ;-; It was just too cold. What can't they do something to speed up the process?

There were these two elderly women in front of use (who were really nice!) who waited as long as we did for the taiyaki (30+ minutes) and they were REALLY close to ordering (like, right in front of the stand underneath the little booth cover thing) but for some reason they just left...it made us really sad since they were so close yet they walked away and waited for nothing :'(

That's so sad.. ;-; To be waiting that long and just walk away. We had a hard enough time walking away after 12 minutes..

And then have it confiscated (and sold on ebay) by the airport.

I was home from college that weekend and my parents decided to go to Uwajimaya and on the way there I was talking about the festival and didn't even know that it was going on. we pulled into the parking lot and saw a bunch of tents and I get really excited. Being a poor college student I convinced my parents to pay for the badge. ^_^ On top of that we got like $100 worth of food. I love Asian food X3

Part of the reason the taiyaki lines were so long was there was a few people when I was there that ordered 15-20 of them all at once.

A lot to do for the 21+ crowd out in that area? That's Eugene, right? Yeah, I've heard of some of the stuff that goes down out there, heh.

There not a whole lot to do in Corvallis, there is a lot more in Eugene. It would just be fun to hang out with friends at a bar or a club. But we are getting way off topic here XD.

Hope this isn't too terribly off topic, considering from what I can see this is a discussion on a past event, but is there another festival this weekend? Or perhaps it is the next... I am remembering this from a far gone conversation, forgive me. XD; If this is so, will anyone be attending? =)
