Metal Gear Solid 2008

Hey all! Couldn't find an existing topic for this so I decided to create one!

Just wondering if there will be any MGS cosplayers, from any game, there at Kumoricon 2008! =D I was at Sakuracon this year and saw a few Snakes, an Ocelot... and that's it. Well, not counting me. I cosplayed Otacon (MGS2). However to my dismay no one recognized me...

I am hoping to cosplay Otacon again and thought it would be awesome to have a MGS get-together of sorts. This way the few cosplayers that are out there could meet each other and get some awesome shots!

What do ya'll think? =)

I recognized you, but I was WAYYY too flustered to go up to you and take lots of photos. Ocelot yahoo! [blush] but I did squeal to my boyfriend and he was happy to see an Ocelot too. Im sorry that I didn't say anything : [

Funny I find this post. I am working on a Solid Snake outfit right now, although while I'm working on the "any-Snake" basics (IE: Headband, hair, facial hair, concept workings), I'm not sure which Snake I'd like to do. Any suggestions, or Snakes that would be the most interesting? For obvious reasons, I won't be doing a Metal Gear 4 Snake, but that's about it. I'm thinking about the skull paint and camo from 3, or perhaps the Smash Bros. version just because it is the most recent without being the older Snake. Anywho, here's hoping I'm gonna finish it. If I do, it would be most excellent to meet ya at the con! I couldn't very well go as Snake without meeting an Otacon. =D

Awesome!!! Haha, and I can see why you'd wanna avoid MGS4 Snake. Well, I think the skull paint one would be cool, but I'd personally reeaaally like to see a Brawl version as it's pretty kick-ass too. Hmmmmm.... I'd have to say my vote is for the Brawl version. Solid Snake > Naked Snake anyday. =P

Anyway, I hope you can get it done! It would be very awesome to meet up with ya. ^__^

Raiden cosplayers... no, not yet. At least, not one in person, but I have seen them on the internet and such. Though that doesn't really count... hopefully a Raiden will be at k-con! =)

Whooooa you'd make an awesome Snake! I say go for the Brawl version; he's awwwwwwesome :D

Awesome, an MGS cosplay thread.  I was thinking about doing Solid Snake from MGS1, but now that some other people are doing Snake, I'm not so sure >.>....

What? You can still be Snake even when other people are cosplaying him too! It can be like the Codec call from Brawl when it's Snake vs. Snake. XD And so far I only know of Zhalfirin cosplaying Snake.

Oh yay! I'm glad someone made this thread! :]

I'll be going as Sunny from MGS4. Only for half a day though on account that I'm just attending K-Con for one day.

I hope to run into you all as Sunny! I plan on taking plenty pictures!
