I'm going to be wearing mine all 3 days as well!
it's my first con, and me and my friends only decided to go like a month ago ^_^'
so there wasn't much time to put into more then one costume.

Ya, last year I went as Ginko from Mushishi but got no loving...most people hadn't even heard of the show. I was sad, so this year I decided to do something not super popular, but not obscure too, didn't want to be naruto #512 if you know what I mean. My only worry is that my body type so isn't that of Kaname's, oh wells.

yea, body types can be a bit frustrating when trying to cosplay a character of a different size.
I'm pretty skinny, but I still have to worry about being so short. lol.

OH yeah, and I made some progress on my cosplay, I went and bought the black leggings yesterday ;]
they are a little sheer, but I couldn't find and solid black ones. but if I don;t stretch 'em out too much they look perfect!

Yay! costume almost complete...just need white pants, black hair dye and a hair cut. Anyone know a good hair stylist for an anime style...maybe I should just buy a wig, but wigs are so icky and never work out right.

I bought most of mine too hehe =) I'm not very good with fabric. The problem is that I was sent the wrong size pants...48 inch waist...that's over 10 inches bigger then my waist plus they come up to my neck almost. That has forced me to find alternate pants, plus there were broken snaps for me to fix too. It's been a total nightmare, and I just realized that my bangs were way too long and I need like an inch or so cut off to have the hairstyle naturally and my hairdresser is like booked til after the con, and I need semi-perminate brown dye for my hair...It's just a nightmare =\ I just hope everything looks good in the end.

oh P.S. I'll try to get some photos tonight of the top atleast

I read a really good tutorial for dying a wig with some kind of ink, 70% rubbing alcohol and a spray bottle.
the wig came out really nice looking!

I got my costume from eBay! woo!
except it turned I wasn't buying an already made costume, I was paying for someone to SEW me a costume and then ship it, whicdh made me a little nervouse since it's from Asia....and my last package from Asia took effing 5 months...[but that was mainly because they waited to ship it untill they got a confirmation of our address, and we had no idea]

No, I didn't sharpie it... basically the same thing though lol. I was talking with a clerk from art media and I found out that a sharpie fades faster than any other permanent marker O.o
Ssssoooo I bought another permanent art marker that lasts longer and, best of all, doesn't smell!!!
Since I am very nervous about using this marker's ink to turn into a spray dye I am doing it all by hand @___@

That way the guilty gear people have 30 minutes at their shoot and nobody misses cosplay chess or closing ceremonies.
