It's an M91/30 Mosin Nagant.  It's a WWII Russian issue rifle, probably one of the best bolt actions to come out of WWII.  I haven't gotten a chance to fire it yet...Portland is horrid when it comes to rifle ranges.
Portland is yes. However there are supposed to be a number of ranges/quarries on the outskirts of town somewhere. Now that I think about it, the gun room might have a range attached.
There's a shooting range near Happy Valley just off 82nd (near the Clackamas Town Center).  I've never been inside; I just use the ATM there when I need to get cash and I'm around there.

Most of the ranges around town here in Portland are pistol ranges, and well, the sights on my Mosin only go as low as 100 meters.  Pistol ranges are barely half that!  :D

However, I'll check out the one on 82nd.  Couldn't hurt to see for myself.  I just feel I'm doing my rifle a disservice if I go fire it at less than 400 meters, considering it's potential hitting distance and what not.

I wore my Colette costume on the plane~! BWAAH. I had to~! I had NO time at the con to put it on. I walked around the Airport as Colette, and an ENTIRE japanese senior class saw me and freaked out. XD



OH~! And, I was Mirielle from NOIR at SACanime the day before...pictured here with a Tsubaki from Soul Eater. XD

Pic of me and my daughter.  What that's out of character. OK, ummm... Mithril is no longer interested in 'The Whispered' We are now researching these strange Hedgehogs with paranormal abilities.  Also researching Chaos energy derived from emeralds to power our ArmSlaves.

Sousuke Sagara has also shown interest in using this new mascot for his new Exo suit.  Called Fumoffu MkII it is replacing the previous bear type.
