I just realized I have no way to explain the idea for it without telling a very long story.

I sum up.
I ran a game on Halloween.
At the end of the game they met a Blind Knight.
Blind Knights have candles with blue flames where their eyes should be.
We had a TON of votive candles around the apartment so I grabbed some burnt out ones for that scene.
We taped some fresh ones onto the empty ones.
Then we went out back and lit them.
Then I posted the picture.
And eventually I'll post the video.

I forgot about the Harvey Dent button. We didn't get a picture of me as growly batman.
When my friends came to my place for trick or treat I answered the door and basically did this to them.

My brand-spanking new coat for my Ritsuka cosplay

I know my hair is too long and not black, but I'll fix that come con time :3
And I can't fix the coat colors, but I think it TOTALLY works. Not bad for $14

I think you can get the coat color fixed at your local dry cleaners. It seems that if you have something suede taken there to be cleaned, they clean it, but it takes all the color out, so they need to re-dye the leather to the original color. I guess you could ask them to clean it, and color it any color you wanted. Ask them.

And if you ever feel like going somewhere as casual Tohma, you just need a red turtleneck, slacks, and you've got yourself another cosplay!

ya, except it's supposed to be pure white and it doesn't have the fur cuffs... If I could find a coat like that, that would be awesome.

well, this was really a lucky find, though a while back, Wal-Mart had similar coats in a a variety of colors, and only had the fur on the neck. Those were only $20

I've found that the only way to get clothing that's acceptably sexy is to wear women's clothing. For coats and jackets, "women's" just means, "fashionable."

this is true... I swear, they need to start making equally fashionable clothes for men... I mean, hot topic is no longer really selling anything cool, just normal coats and shirts....

About half of my wardrobe is women's clothing now. Jackets sized for thin women fit my torso perfectly.

EDIT: whereas I have NEVER found any men's clothing that is form-fitting on me.

ya, when I look at Anime characters and the men that wear trench coats, there womens trench coats because of how it flairs after the waist.

I can understand what you mean about form fitting clothes though, they make them MUCH differently and in a wider variety for women. I don't like form fitting clothes though. Not just because of my self conciousness. I've always liked baggy clothes, since like, 6th grade.

Eh, I've noticed a lot more men's clothing that are fitted. Look at the pants these darned kids are wearing these days! But I guess that probably doesn't extend to stuff like trench coats. Personally, I'd like to just get myself a nice button up jacket of some sort. Somethin' with a lil' class. But that stuff is aspensive!
