P.S. - I'll be cosplaying TP Link for the first two days, and probably changing into plainclothes for the evenings.  Day three depends on how tired I am and how early I get up.  Maybe I'll leave the chain mail and weaponry behind that day...

Totally understood. I was mostly in plainclothes when I spoke to you, and it was on Sunday (I think) so I bet you were pretty zonked.  However, I did mention that I hoped to cosplay Twilight Princess Link at Kumori Con, and wondered if you'd be there. I think I also noted that your ears are naturally pointy. I'm weird like that.

I originally didn't like Wario, but a friend of mine is a big Wario fan, and his timely Wario quotes have made it impossible not to enjoy the character.

It seems like we have people wanting to do Smash Bros on different days... I'll read the full thread to see what's most prominent, but I just wanted to mention that I'm open for practically any time. I'm wearing Link both Saturday and Sunday, and Monday is up in the air.

Oh, and in case wearing the same costume multiple days worries you, here are my anti-funk resolutions:

1. Wear an extra T-shirt under the costume, and change it daily.
2. Shower nightly.
3. Change out of costume sometime in the early evening each day.
4. Wear antiperspirant.
5. No running, and stay out of the sun.
6. No DDR in chain mail.

Sorry I wasn't in costume on Monday (it takes nearly two hours to get into costume and I also had to pack), but the Sunday photo shoot was great. I don't know how it got by me that it was scheduled for Sunday. I think I was going off of dated information on the forums. Oh well, at least we figured it out... it was fun, and hey, six Links can't be wrong.

I regret that there haven't been any really good shots of the "oops, I'm gonna fall" group pose, and none of them really got me on camera, even though I suggested the idea. Sorry to say, but to really ensure good photo selection, the cosplayers sometimes have to bring cameras and take turns being the photographer. Either that or rope a bystander into snapping the shots, that is...   ...Oh well, more photos may pop up soon.

I couldn't face the prospect of another day in chain mail, and my white shirt and pants for Link were pretty gross after day two.  (Next time I'm going to have to look into the prospect of either doing laundry nightly at the con, or obtaining an extra set of the shirt and pants used for that costume.)

What characters did you end up costuming? I think I saw a Lucas in the gaming room on Monday, but no Fox, Meta Knight, or Game And Watch. I think the Lucas I saw also has a cool Pit costume which may or may not have surfaced this year.

Are you kidding? I was thinking that you were too skinny to play Wario. If you don't want to proudly display even an ounce of flab, perhaps you're cosplaying the wrong character.... j/k

Lesse, the piñatas and mock fighting lasted about five minutes, theeen we threw candy at the glomp circle and staged some more battles before calling it quits, so you didn't miss a whole lot. But it was still rockin'! In our group, there was Diddy Kong (me!), Fox, Mr. Game n' Watch (with bowler hat and skillet), and Olimar. I think we got a Lucas and a Ness to fight with us, too. That Ness was really good at doing the dodge move, by the way!

I suspect he didn't wear Waluigi at all until Monday.  I think the costume was new at Sakura Con, and who knows? He might've had other new costume(s) for the other two days.  Someone should tell Waluigi that he is technically in Smash Bros. Brawl in that outfit, even if he's just an assist trophy...

I loved all the costumes, and most of the people were pretty cool too, but I wish we'd done more.  Kingdom Hearts had a war! :O

We did manage to get some good Legend of Zelda staged poses in, but mostly afterward. If we find a similar location next year, mebbe we could have everybody face off in pairs and stage a brawl on two levels.
