Hey guys. I'm writing a persuasive paper to the Kumoricon staff as an English assignment. lol. And I really need to know the average of how much people from Kumoricon spend on manga each month. So please please pleeeeeeeease help me out! Thanks ^^

Depending on how the rest of the month is or if I'm saving money for something else, I'd say about $40 on average.

And God help me if there's a manga sale at Borders.

Voted. Lately I haven't been buying manga, because I've been saving up for Japan and cosplay. The only series I'm really dedicated to buying is Yotsuba&.

it really depends month to month, because i collect certen series that i wait till they come out to buy
month A i might not buy anythng because nothing is out
month B everything i want is out

yeah i am pretty much the same for the most part... but then i get bored because its my ride home reading material xD so i ended having like 5 or 6 series ^_^; plus a few that I've started but haven't finished cause i am to lazy to look around for the rest of the books after b&n stopped selling the series in the store i go to >>;

It varies dramatically for me. Usually 10-20, but if I come across a cache of good stuff at Powell's, I'll usually shell out for that. Also, during con season I have to save like crazy.

We(me and the fam) tend to buy at least 3 per month because we are in the boarders manga book club.

Wow, I can't believe that I'm in the minority of people that spend over $50 a month  I'm usually more inclined to buy manga than anime because it's cheaper and you usually get more story out of it. I haven't bought manga for months though lately... I'm saving up for goodies at Kumoriconand it's making me go into manga-witdrawl
