Well, basically, you take your first name and break it down using japanese syllable. For example, Jim would be 'Ji' and 'mu'.......I think. Okay, so I'm not sure on a lot of this!

So, once you've done that, use a japanese translator [I would suggest http://englishjapaneseonlinedictionary.com/ as one] to figure out what they mean. Now, some of them may turn of a HUGE amount of results[like ni] Basically, find something that either has it in ( ) or the actual word. [Good luck....]

My name!

So, my name Japanese Roma[n]ji is Shidoni. I think if you break my name down 'Shi' is poem or poetic, 'do' is degree[as in school, I think], and 'ni' is either the suffix -ly or at.....

....Does that make me Poetic at Degree...? Or At Poetic Degree? >.<

One form of Kurisu has already been posted.  So...

Ku - 9
Risu - Squirrel

"9 Squirrels"
(For those of you who know Japanese and know the counter for small animals, let's just overlook that detail for now.)

...What in the world would I change the last syllable in my name to? Rachel isn't exactly a Japanese friendly name...Though in Chinese it is Ra Cheo (or was it Chao?) if I remember correctly. At least that's what some calligraphy things I got in China Town in San Francisco said. ^^;;
Unable to come this year. Sorry guys...

only prob is I'm pretty sure ni would need to be sandwhiched between the other romaji for those translations to work othewise left as a impled question like "toire ni.." like sayin "the toilet is (where?)
like "su-pa-ni doko desu ka?"  = "where is the supermarket"

Rodney = ro do ni = "degree furnace at .... (?)"

i think any way... i can find my text book to double check (negima?)

Oh Ni-particles, why are you so confusing sometimes.
But yes, you're right.  The Ni-particle can be used for at, in, to, and so on.

The only thing I found wrong is I typed in Rodney and it came out as "rodonii" (or rodoni-)

You're Yog-Sothoth!! The aquatic, glowing alien god of Lovecraftian mythos, lol. "Yog-Sothoth knows the Gate. Yog-Sothoth is the gate."

haha *high five*

Well, the Ogdru Jahad are Mike Mignola's homage to Lovecraft and his outer gods, so yes, the Ogdru Jahad are very strongly based on Yog-Sothoth (and the other gods as well).

Ah, gotcha. They are indeed uber-epic. If you like reading about "scary, slimy things squirming in the dark", as someone once put it, I'd say you should read his writing sometime. H.P. Lovecraft wrote tons of short stories, and some poetry. But he is most famous for his creatures Cthulhu, Dagon, and the Elder Things. Yup, lots of epic awesome, heh
