Codec that isn't DivX? (Resolved!)

Nevermind this, I found a codec that works wonderfully and doesn't have a watermark!

Lesse... It was a whole pack that I downloaded and got everything from, and the program's called VistaCodecs. Unfortunately, it only works for Windows Vista. Which brings up a problem for me... The encoding that goes into the .avi, you think it'll be readable by anything else?

That should be fine. ^_^;

I don't normally encode stuff (I have a DivX Pro I got for free when they were giving them out for their anniversary awhile ago) so I use ffdshow to decode most all my video. ^_^;

I don't plan on encoding it either, I was just curious as to whether or not something made on Vista would only be accessable by Vista.
