I've read nasty Cold-War spy thrillers, with genially evil, sadistic whack-jobs as the bad-guy characters.

I've read (and watched) post-nuclear holocaust tales of living underground for years. Just stories, mind you...

I've was WAY too young when I saw "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane" (1962 movie, Joan Crawford, Bette Davis) Bothered me for YEARS. The rat on the dinner plate...

Ah, I love that cartoon. I saw that when I was really young and came across it again recently (as I am burning dvd's of nostalgic cartoon shorts and whatnot). I really like that one though, very ominous.
