Pokemon Cosplay 08

Hello! For this year one of my costumes will be Ash Ketchum and so far I already have a Pikachu, a Misty and maybe a Butterfree. I was wondering if there will be anyone else cosplaying as a character from Pokemon or a Pokemon?

I hope to be Kaede from the relatively obscure manga How I Became A Pokémon Card. She's a Rocket agent with really bad allergies...who's charged with invading Erika's gym.

Hilarious+Rocket+uniform with pants=win. Plus she has a Gloom and Glooms rule.

But this depends on if I can get a Rocket shirt in time, and BOOTS because she has huge boots. Also no one will know who I am since the comic was only released in Japan, she was only in two chapters (each chapter is a standalone story, although some tie in with others), and the scanslations haven't gotten to her yet (I'll link you when they do, if that's allowed).

Actually My friends and I are doing a pokemon group. I'm dressing up as a humaniod vaporeon. We're also going to have an eevee, butterfree and maybe a flareon.

I might do a pokemon for my 3rd dayinstead of a TOKKO cosplay. Humanoid pocket monsters would be delightful  :)

Well, that's just how intensely devoted I am!  ;D

I wonder what Pokemon I'd go as... My favorite Pokemon is Gyarados, and if I had mad skillz I would do one in the vein of a chinese festival dragon. That has potential to be amazing  ;)

Only Gyarados would totally pwn Vaporeon. Oh well...I'll at least I'll be pretty as I'm getting bet to S***

Oh gosh, I'm seriously considering doing a Poke'mon now xD And if not Gyarados, there's 493 others at my diposal   ;D

Are you guys also going to do the D/P ones like Leafeon or Glaceon? It baffles me how they managed to soil two awesome (at least in appearance  ;)) mon with a few foolish names. Poke'mon is quickly degrading into Digimon naming modemon.  :D

 I Don't like glaceon! It's a total rip off of vaporeon!...leafeon is alright but I don't think those two match the rest of them very well. Maybe that's because I've only played the games up till diamond. So far we only have the original ones. Eevee, Vaporeon, flareon....we don't have a jolteon...I don't think. The guy we had I have serious doubts he'll even go to the con.


The reason they are running out of names is because there are SO many of them. It's hard to be creative with that many to think of.

Speaking of digimon... I really want to do a lilymon(sp?) cosplay. I think that would be a blast.

I agree that Glaceon's retarded since ice is just another form of water. In fact the entire species, or whatever, of ice is essentially pointless.  ;)

Digimon makes me laugh. I even think that one of the rarer digimon is actually caled raremon  :D

Psh, not true. Ice attacks are my key to defeating Lance's dragons in the game :P


My cosplay plans seem to keep on changing, but I'm pretty certain I'll be doing a Marowak gijinka cosplay (humanized version)

based off the original gijinka drawings that i just adore!

i really like the concept in general, and it's a cosplay i can actually do on my currently rather limited budget. now i kind of want to make prop giant pokeball though...  i think i'll have a enough prop making to do with this costume though. Not entirely sure how I want to go about doing the skull yet.
