I need help on what fabric i should get for my Naruto Jacket I NEED HELP!!!

ok so this is my problem, i went to Jo-Anne Fabrics today to get the Fabric for my Naruto Jacket and pants,but I didn't know why kind of Fabric I should have gotten for it
I was under the impretion that the type of Fabric should the same so that the colors doing look mis-matchy...
tha is a really big frobbblem for me and I really need help , so if there are any naruto cosplayer's that know the right kind of Fabric to get for it to look good then ASSISTENCE PLEASE!!!!

I'm looking mainly for the orant because the Jacket and pants have to match....
I'm having so much trouble with figuring it out because I'm a cosplay making noob....

looks like either a really thick cotton (in the quilting section) or possibly a botton weight fabric (they tend to be thicker but tends to have a smaller selecton) located where the denim is usaly each store is a bit differnt
hard part is matching the color and having the right thickness, it would be easy to match the fabric color but it might would be too thin

the trim should be pretty easy they have a kinda cotton knit that is meant for trims like that, i belive it is usaly near pajama fabric

also big point what jo annes did you go to? there are new 'super' stores that have bigger selection the two i know of are in tigard and east port plaza

You might want to look at some lighter fabric. This convention is at the end of August and it is not cool at that time. Last year I wore a thin jacket and I was still burning up. It's your choice.

I'm talking about the one thats at the milwaukie shopping center...its a lot smaller I'm sure....but they had alot of fabric so it should be ok....

if youre not going to have an in layer or anything, i would go for a thicker fabric, but if you are, go for a thinner one is all the advice that i have,

i wore a WHITE knee-length dress, and i was still hot o.0;;

if you want, i plan on going to my local joannes next week (going to be out of town this weekend) and if i see a fabric that might work I'll write down the sku number and pm it to you because your joannes should have it, or beable to find it with the sku number

The costume itself isn't that hard but I'm worried about the wig and the claw. I want to try to go as Albel Nox form Star Ocean.

This is Albel. I got done with most of the claw. I still need to do the shoulder pad things. I also need to sew the costume together.....I may start on that tomorrow.

omfg I know this is off topic, but I will literally follow you around if you cosplay Albel. He's my favorite character ever, from any gaming or series or whatever. Star Ocean does rock.  You will look and be awesome.

And to not get in trouble for being off topic: Try using a mix of a few different materials, not so different in feeling, but more so in looks. You're doing the Pre-Shippuden Naruto, right?

yea, but I keep thinking that if its not the same color and material that it will look weird....I don't want that.
