Yay, Indie! I need to get refreshed with the series and watch the three Indiana Jones movies, but I really want to see the new one, too. ^_^

I'd go to see Indy if it's on a night I can make it ... and if we are not trying to go opening night.

Perhaps this should get it's own thread?

Best thing about Lady in the Water was the music! The movie itself is pretty forgetable.

Yeah, that movie was unfortubate, although I will admit I do like it, to some degree. It was strong premise, and a strong cast, and there was the usual Shayamalan twist on everything, but it did (somehow) miss the mark. I dunno, I think I need to watch it again and get reacquainted with it.

agreed. from the trailers, i was expecting a ton more fantasy and creatures etc and less reality... ah well, it was still good ^.^ kinda like how some people were disappointed with the village... though i thought that one was amazing.

but as of right now, the happening seems to be beating both of those out in the awesome rating in my head... and i've only seen the trailer!

Agreed. Lady in the Water was good, but from what I can recall there were elements of it that really seemed unbelievable...even for a Shayamalan movie.

Now the village was good, don't know why people didn't like it. I thought many elements of cinematography, editing, and story were great. But yeah happening looks like it could be a winner.

Man there are too many interesting movies coming out this summer.

Which part of The Happening makes you think of cosplay? I'm just curious. I mean, unless you mean cosplay as a dead person (because I could see how that applies, lol).

I'm going to see it on the opening day, or the day after that, at Oak Grove 8 or Hilltop 9.  ;) My dad is coming with me, too, since that whole 'under 18' business is going on with me.

Hmmm, well if you could bus it halfway or something (if you wanted to go to Tigard with us who may be going), then I'm sure we could meet you half-way. But, I'm talking out of turn since I wouldn't be the one driving. But, it is a possibility.

Nah, it'd be a different theater. Those other kids were planning something completely outside the sphere of me and Kahlan and whoever else may want to go with us out in the Tigard area.

Yeah, it would be a pretty severe bus ride all the way out to Tigard, but let me talk some stuff over, get a plan going and I can get back to you if you're interested.

>_< 90 min bus ride to washington square mall

so, you could ride the bus to barbur transit center, that would shave some time off the ride and we could meet you there, that is actually seemingly closer to tigard theater than washington square ^.^

i'm thinking it's gonna have to be saturday late afternoon/evening... seeing as i have to work both friday and saturday and friday night i have plans already, plus i think eve-boyfriend has band practice, so if that's ok, we could go then ^.^

surprised there's not a midnight showing... but, incredible hulk has one, so maybe we'll go to that too >.O

yeah i bus'd to tirgard yesterday. :( i just don't like sitting on the bus so long and then not being fully sure when you get of or if you ask the bus driver and they forget then you'll feel hopeless and lost.
yesterday an old guy checked me out sat next toe me then fell asleep. had to tap him on the shoulder to get him to move

Okay so to cover everything, which theater would we be going to? Tigard cinemas, or Washington Square? Because both Tigard and Barbur TC are within my bus reach, or even the mall itself. Just need to know which one to go for. Also what would the theater ticket cost(s) be, and what day seemed to work for everyone?
