I know this is a little late to be asking folks this. But I wanna have a meet up at the WaterFront Village. It's really easy to get to (Really it is) All you have to do is hit the Saturday Market in DownTown Portland, and get directions from there. I wanna meet up where the Marines have their booth set up. Just outside of the end of the Waterfront Village(( It's got a cool set up with depressed stone steps, Near the slingshot>.>That 30 dollar ride thingy)), near where the Pirate ships are known to drop off passengers.

This will be a major meet up, IN Cosplay(if you can manage). I will be doing my usual cosplay -points to her IrukaSensei picture- So it shouldn't be TOO hard to find me. I would like to mention, anyone thats in the military or a military dependent that has their ID Card, you can get into the Waterfront village for FREE! If you do not have this benefit, thats alright its ONLY five dollars to get in. My main idea is for us to meet up and goof around, and just generally have fun.

I would like for the meet up to be at about Four-Thirty, and since its Friday night, we can hopefully hang out a bit later then usual(For those with curfews). There is a Max line nearby, for those that need to take buses home, and hopefully we can even get some talking done for hopes on Kumoricon. This meet up is a Toriatama supported event, and most of our Cosplay Group will be doing our best to attend.

Now it's Simple just tell me if you will show up, and I can add you to the list. To look for you when you show up, if you are showing up in street clothes, thats fine too! I don't mind, but I would LOVE Cosplays folks, I will be bringing a camera and snapping shots of folks. Then uploading them to the forums, might even take a video, if I can figure out how to get it online. XD

If you need to discuss more in detail, about items relating the the event feel free to contact me by my messengers. Or if you want you can even message me and get my Cellphone, and we will go from there.

I think I can make it. I usually come home every weekend but I get home around 2 or so. I can do my Temari cosplay but I just don't have the blond hair yet. I would love to show off Albel but it's not done yet. Keep me posted on whats going on.

I may come for this. If I cosplay, it would be from Bleach(yamada Hanatarou to be specific), as crossplay isn't quite something I'm willing to do outside of conventions.

also, is the military for active duty? what about former military/vets?

If you have a Miliatry ID card, that is CURREnt... as in you could go tot he PX with it, then you can get in free. ^_^ And hope to see you there!

I'm sure I'll be able to go (have to get money from my parents) but other than the money issue I'm sure I'll be able to make it. I can't wait it would be a lot of fun.

So Friday evening at 4:30? I will try to show up. The slingshot is the one that shoots a couple in a thing up high in the air right? easy to spot. If I do make it I will either be wearing an "Inuyasha red" sweater with my gear in a bag to change there, or as Dragonball GT Trunks with my purple wig in my backpack to change to upon finding the crew. So just wondering how long this might go to at the latest.

And the latest this can go to? As long as people generally want. Seriously, its a Friday night, and as long as you don't have work the next day, I can see staying out pretty late. Sides cosplay pictures under the stars sounds like fun XD -giggles-

ANYWAYS... anyone that needs to know the way to get there on the max line, just get off at Old TOwn China town, and then take a left as you get off the maxline(If coming from like say the Rose Quarter Transit Center) and walk up till you hit the corner, take a left again, and walk straight, then take a right, and walk straight down that street. Seriously, if you walk long enough you will see it. YOu need to walk all the way to the end of the festival though, so you need to walk past all the entrances till you get to the end, where you get on the Pirate Ship. Slingshot is not hard to miss either though >.>

I should be able to stay the entire time until the last cosplayer heads home. But just as an extreme case, how late would this go? Midnight and beyond? Because I can head out at 10:00 and still get a ride home from the festival. My mom is in the festival of bands at PGE park. If any later I would have to get a ride from someone on their way home through Sherwood, since the 12 stops at king city late night. Oh and I don't have any dragon balls found (made yet), but I can bring a box for my clothes that is made to look like a SMB [?] block, and sound keychain. Heh, Super Mario Bros Z! If anyone doesn't know what that is, look it up at www.flashportal.com.

a little update on my situation. I am all for going unless it is raining, and by raining I mean pouring. Today (in Corvallis) it has been sprinkling off and on but I will manage that weather. If it is a solid stream of rain then I may sit this out, just because I don't want to get sick right around the time of my finals.

I'm thinking the latest we will be out is ten, because me and Kadaj, and My sister, need to head back home by transit. ^^;; But yeah, it says it might be sprinkling on saturday, but I don't think it would be pouring. Worst case scenario, we have the tents to get under and hang out under until the rain stops.

Well all this talk about it possibly being on Saturday gave me the motivation to finish Albel and wear it tomorrow. I also got one of my friends to go. Her name is Devin and she is going to cosplay but I'm not sure as what just yet.

You are the one that gave me the idea to do Fayt nikkiolie! I saw that you were going as Albel and I was all like, I need to go as Fayt eventually! Not sure when though... I am ready have four cosplays planned for this con, so it might be for Sakuracon or next Kumoricon. After this one that is... Is this the only year your going as Albel? I hope not... He is my all time favorite from StarOcean: Till the end of Time, Fayt being my second, and I would love to hang out with another StarOcean cosplayer when I do my Fayt cosplay?

Albel is my favorite character period so once I get it done I may wear to to every con. I know I am going to wear it to this Kumoricon and Sakuracon but I'm sure I'll wear it to Kumoricon 09 too. I am try to get a Star Ocean group together for Sakuracon and Kumoricon 09. For Sakuracon it seems like we have a Clif, Fayte, Nel, possibly another Albel or Clair. For Kumoricon 09 I may have a Maria.

I put all the feathers on the cloak. I still need to attach the ribbon tassel thingy. During the summer I will attach more feathers because it's a little flat and uneven.
