aw thats sad, but you make a really good Tamari so it should still be fun ^_^

I might drop my aerith cosplay compleatly and save it for meetups, I look less dangerous to the security gaurds in a pink dress XD. I might end up going as Tifa for all three days. My friend Ariel will be going as cloud at least one of the days..

Well, at least you'll be a FF cosplayer in one way or another. Yay more for the photo shoot!

OF course!! I'm FF All the way man! XD I will always have an FF cosplay every year lol probably tifa, thats my favorite cosplay. And the reason I got introduced to FF, cuz ariel looked at me and said "you look like tifa"

haha, well that's awesome. Gotta be one of the few instances of someone being introduced to a character through cosplay before actually playing the game, haha. That's great, though.

I haven't played the actual game yet but its been explained thoroughly to my by ariel lol and I have watched advent children MANY times..

I actually didn't know about cosplay when she said it.. we were on a chior field trip and she was talking about FF and who someone looked like from it. SOOO I asked who I looked like and she said Tifa.. Then She showed me the game and movie and explained everything about the storyline so I know it all lol. then we got invited to k-con so I learned what cosplay was lol and thus last year was my first con. Now I have the game (she gave it to me for my 16th B-day) and I am in the process of playing it.

Oooooh! Fascinating, heh. Well at least you are in the process of playing it. It'd be a sad day when there is a FFVII fan who has not been able to actually play the game yet, lol.

The game is epic. I wish they would remake it with better graphics but oh well. I kinda like the candy corn people ^_^

Ah, I love the original, heh. They may remake the game, they may not, who knows? But I love the game as it is, it's true, the graphics make it more memorable. Remaking it would be cool, but it would never replace the original on my shelf, heh.

Aw, I was so looking forward to seeing your Albel cosplay, Nikkiolie.

But that's alright, because you are fantastic as Temari. :3

Well it depends if I make it into the chess. If I do then I need to go as Temari if not then I'll go as albel. I wont find out till the week before. But if anyone is going to the "con three weeks early" or the sept 20 then you will get to see it.

Mel from?

I would say Namine, I think there is going to be a kairi so I wouldn't want there to be double (if I was going to be the double of something)

I decided on Simca because even though she has the shortest dress in history she has long legwarmers which i can make to pull over the skates ^_^ and the dress is long sleeved and it works out cause he character skates as well!

I realy realy wanna be in the cosplay chess, and if i can i will. sadly, im holding the ramen bowl fire competion during the pre game meeting, ill try and talk to jaki about lowering the time thugh so i can make it, i realy realy wanna be in the chess. on that note, i say albel would be way more epic for chess, and i think you know that. way more attack ideas.

eh this is mel:

i spent a lot of time on her costume and its not even done yet x.x i still need to sew on the white ruffles, but the ribon i used is delicate, and i used an expensive fabric (really smooth!) for the pink, but thankfully i figured away around the magical sleeves that just stay on even though they dont really stick to the body, and there are no straps to them.... i wonder how those sleves stay up...

course her costume could be the warmist...

wow that looks like a hard costume. I would say Mel then. If you are worried about the costume getting ruined then don't.

As for Albel I don't think it will be done (to the way I want it) in time. I could enter him though. Do you know if you can do two forms?

hmm i think i will, she does have the warmist costume

and actualy its not that skantaly in real life o.o the pink part goes to about mid thigh and the ruffles cover a decent amount, and im wearing shorts under the mini skirt x.x and a tank under the pink.

compared to what i've seen people wear nowadays thats more cute then scantly.....and... i would imagine using some kind of rubber band or something under the fabric on a separate fabric connected to that one, that way it looks like the one on top isnt connected at all

and as for your frily cosplay, i see, in real life it probly would look diffrent XI i gotcha ya ^_^

I am battling with everyone. I want to be number 1 MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Once I get there I am going to be Number 1 with total post including spam. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH >:D

but we are getting off topic. During the con three weeks early I think we are going to try to ice skate. So if anyone is going to that it would be a good opportunity to try it out in costume.

Well, I'd definitely be interested in joining in on this fun little event. I can't ice skate, but I'd at least come in costume and hang out, shuffle around on the ice or something lol.

And I am totally trying my best to defend against Nikki beating me in posts...but she is kicking my butt! I was winning and she usurped me overnight, lol. I shall be victorious!!

It makes my heart warm and fuzzy to see how derailed the the topic gets, even in my absence ;)

Should we maybe have cosplay skating lessons, for the people who would prefer to not bludgeon innocent pedestrians?

It couldn't hurt, but what's wrong with bludgeoning civilians? If you're really cosplay skating, you'd be staying in character....and being brutal and mischievous is totally in character for most of us, I'm sure, lol.

I'm just kidding, of course.

Oh yes, just kidding *twicth twitch, nudge nudge* ;D

I would probably end up unintentionally smashing a few heads in with my almighty, and nonexistant twirl, but some may not want to dirty their hands with blood \o/
