I was a dork, I read on the Rink's home page that its $260 per hour.... ouch.....

Another thought is maybe people would be willing to commit to coming to the event, they could split the cost however many ways. I'm going to talk to the rink rental person and see if there is a deposit or not.

Here's what the reservation guy told me about what's open that weekend.

The rink is available after 10 pm on Fri and Saturday. We also have after 9 pm on sunday available too.

The cost is $260 per hour. The deposit is 50%. If people skate, skate rental is $3 a pair. Most of the time, groups play broomball and the equipment for that is included in the rental rate.

I don't go to dances and there will be dances and concerts every night. I am fine with it latter. I actually think that is a much better idea than having it in the middle of the day.

Late night would work pretty well, I'd think. I don't know about others, but I don't tend to do much late at night at the con. I just chill in the room and unwind, more often than not. I don't know if I'd actually be pulled away from the con space (cause I'm kinda like a bee in its hive once I'm at the hotel), but it would be a good time if I was planning to go do it, heh.

The falling down didn't even hurt, I'm good at falling down. I just have wet noodles for ankles apparently.

The worst part about falling down is that it DIDN'T GET FILMED so I can't even laugh at myself later. I blame Tanis.
