*Siiiiiigh* I'll just have to 'go easy' then. Last KC was the greatest con I'd ever been too and as a result I was sooo damned tired that I couldn't think clearly. The Chess masters must have thought I was really dumb.
I honestly have no idea how I was even able to fight by that time.

Well hey, it's not my Lavi costume! But no Bakanda makes me a sad little DGM fangirl.

I'm trying to devise a method of attacking that doesn't involve asking nicely to tackle someone and then ending up breaking everything I've spent three months making. Anyone have any ideas? I'm totally open to them!

Okay, latest round of form e-mails have gone out. Once again, if you haven't received a reply from me, I haven't received your entry.

There is still room for a few entries.. I need around 5 more pieces, to fill out the board. So, if you've been waiting on sending in your entry, now is the time. If I don't get enough pieces, I will have to wait until con to post teams, so we can get more entries then.

I'll have to think about how to work that.. the problem is, pieces are selected by their cosplay. If I hold open the registration, and we have a bunch of people with amazing cosplays sign-up, then I have to tell confirmed people they are booted. Or I have to say the next 5 people that sign up are in, and we may get so-so cosplays...

I am hopeful that we will round out the entries, and I can post teams. I may even extend the entry time a couple of days, so we have a definite cut-off, but still give people time to submit their entries.

If you can't send the .pdf (some people have been able to, some not), there is a .doc file that you can send in instead. It's next to the .pdf version.

Yes, that's fine.. as long as you send the requested info, I will accept most forms

Just be sure to include a picture of your cosplay.

Alright that is fine with me. I'll just wait a few more days. I am just trying to plan what costume I wear on what day. But I understand where you are coming from. If you have a costume that was just ok and then you tell them that they’re in and a costume comes in that blows you away....yeah I get it.

If we receive enough entries prior to that, I will close it, and you will be placed on a wait list. But if we don't, and I leave it open, that's fine.

Currently, the deadline is the 22nd. If I don't receive enough entries, I may extend the deadline a couple of days, but that's not guaranteed.

Okay guys, I haven't been able to respond to what I've received, but Majinnekochan's pleas in the cosplay forum for help was a success

I am still accepting registrations, but the deadline of the 22nd will hold. Any entries received after that will be put in the "if we have time for another match, maybe" pile. Teams will be posted next week.

Please keep in mind that it is the quality of your cosplay, not when I received your registration, that determines if you are selected or not.. and there have been some awesome cosplays. I have also received some duplicates, and since the preference is for only one of each cosplay on the board, if you are Sakura (Naruto) or Esther (Trinity Blood), and have an alternate you would be willing to submit instead, now is your chance.

On the plus side, with all the last minute entries I've received, I may be able to come up with a third team, to take on the winner of the first match. Hmm... we have more time this year, and if we really keep it moving...

I got all dressed up, stood there at the mirror camera in hand; and then just put the camera down and undressed. I figured I'd probably only end up embarrassing myself so I'm not gonna do it. I'm gonna be watching though. sorry

I know I am starting to get nervous about acting myself....but since Jamiche hinted that he would rather see Temari than Albel that makes it a little better. Temari is much more of my own personality where Albel would be serious acting x.x

Aww, guys, it's fun! Really! =D Nervousness may occur, but you're up there with a bunch of people, so it's not just you...and when you battle, it's STILL not just you, since you're facing someone else (or perhaps you have a team attack).
