Anime and Cosplay Documentaries
« on: June 19, 2008, 02:55:45 pm »
So, I have been searching for "official" documentaries on the anime, cosplay, and otaku cultures, and I was wondering if any of you have seen some of these that I've heard of or seen. The couple I have come across that sound pretty good are Go Go Anime and Otaku Unite. I also have Cosplay Encyclopedia, which is pretty good for a basic documentary on cosplay.

So yes, thoughts? Recommendations?

A documentary about hamburgers? Sounds....delicious, lol. Food Network and Travel Channel are great for things like that (if you are able to get the channels, that is).

Ah, I'll keep an eye out for it, heh

* I just looked it up and it sounds really cool, very interesting film. I love burgers, so there's no way that film could be a disappointment ^_^

At last year's Anime Evolution there was a guy that almost got hired by BBC to do documentaries that was doing a documentary on the convention.

Really? That's pretty awesome, I wonder if his con footage ever made it out to the world. Also, I wonder if we (Kumoricon) are going to have an official dvd this year, heh

Ah, yeah, I have heard that one referenced here and there. I figure I should see it at some point, could be good. Thanks for the suggestion.
