So I know this is completely late notice, but my friend and I are going to take a day trip into Downtown Portland tomorrow while the weather is still decent. More or less, I'm showing my friend around Portland because he lived in California all his life. So my friend and I live in Sandy which is about 1 1/2 from Loyd Center by Max train, and we're leaving at 7:30 am or so. We should be near Loyd Center and the Double Tree at about 9:30 to 10 am. Thinking about taking a trip to Pioneer Courthouse Square, Waterfront Park and maybe the mall, library and all that. Heck, maybe a trip to the fountain if it gets too hot. So does anyone want to go? I could use some help welcoming someone to our lovely town of Portland!

Oh and dressing up is okay too! Just not full cosplay, this is a casual event.

Don't be a jerk. They were just warning you. I would come myself, and still might, depending on things that may come up.

I'm sorry, i'm just upset because most of my friends have already backed out on me. I wasn't happy to see another person do the same thing.

Tisk tisk.  It's okay.  I know how it is when people needlessly comment.  Hell, if I had had the money to go, I would have met ya.  But since I'm down in E-town, it wouldn't have worked out anyway.  And now I'm starting a job tomorrow.

Damn, and it sounded fun-on-a-bun too.  Was it?
Looking for artists!
Eastern, Western...any style!  Contact me if you're interested in working with me on a comic series.  Even if you're only a little interested, audition anyway.

We had lots of fun. Got lots of sun too and if I'm not mistaken, we were in a shot of waterfront park for channel 8 news. I started my new job on friday so that was one of the main reasons we went out too. We're planning another excusion within the next few weeks.
