One month to the day! Yay pre-reg Friday! That day is always such a pleasant way to kick the weekend off. Chill with friends, enjoy anime and let everything sink in before the weekend officially starts. Ah, now I'm getting all stoked and nostalgic again, heh.

I probably won't even have a job to worry about, but if I did get one before then, I'd have to make sure to request the weekend, Fri-Mon, off in advance. So I was watching some Anime Expo footage from 2006 (old con footage is still good) and someone was playing the Star Wars "Two Suns" theme on the trumpet (or trombone, I can't remember which), and it was absolutely beautiful. Does anyone remember the songs they have seen people playing in the halls at Kumoricon? I remember the Link/Zelda theme, which was awesome, but I don't think I can remember any others.

ah wonderful mother dear is on one of her anti anime tirades! she swears now that i dont need to cossplay and im being insane... and that i should finish my math work before i do anythin else.... x.x i dont thik she realize's if if i wanted to finish ALL my maythwork it would take about 10 hours... =.= oh well now i will tackle some asignments and THEN i will make me ruffles

On the Saturday (and Sunday morning) of Kumori last year, I was dressed up as Ranka (Haruhi's crossdressing Papa from Host Club) and absolutely no one had any idea because it's pretty normal clothes!

It was getting pretty late in the evening and this group of about three girls comes up to me and tell me "You're my hero" and gave me a hug. That really made it worth the work!

It's those little moments that really make con worthwhile *~sappy~*
